Now actually, that is a tough one for me. I don't think I have too much of a problem shaving my head, tho vanity does come into play and my hair is quite nice as it is. However, saying to a new lover, 'oy, never mind the jungle' might be a difficult to stomach.

Actually, there is no way I could go without shaving before donning a bikini. I'd go with the bald option.

I think that in most cases, the treatment is the same. I guess, treated as though I were a child ... at least it indicates an assumption of the ability to reason.
