JUST IN: Driver With Nazi Flag Charged for Targeting President After Truck Crashes White House Security Barrier
    By Ken MeyerMay 23rd, 2023, 7:37 am

A truck driver was detained by the Secret Service overnight after crashing into security barriers near the White House, and a Nazi flag was discovered inside the vehicle.

The incident occurred around Lafayette Square, where the driver of a rented U-Haul box truck crashed into the security barriers and repeatedly tried to ram through. The driver was arrested at the scene and slapped with charges that include trespassing, destruction of federal property, and threatening to kill, kidnap or inflict harm on the president, vice president, or a family member.

Bomb technicians were called to the area to check the truck for explosives. Authorities searched the vehicle and discovered a black backpack, a roll of duct tape, a notebook, and a nazi flag with a swastika.

“There were no injuries to any Secret Service or White House personnel, and the cause and manner of the crash remain under investigation,” Anthony Guglielmi, the Secret Service chief of communications, said in a statement obtained by NBC. He added that “preliminary investigation reveals the driver may have intentionally struck the security barrier.”

The nearby Hay-Adams hotel was evacuated at the request of the Secret Service when the incident occurred, but people were allowed back in when the scene was deemed safe.

Huh, apparently some 19 year old neo-nazi tried to drive a UHaul truck through a barrier at the white House... Such a friendly thing to do... Why would they arrest him and charge him with anything?

I bet if Bundy was Black and threatening violence they would have no problem at all sending in a SWAT team. But treasonous conservative/America Hating/Republicans don't believe any laws apply to them.

Judge issued warrant for Ammon Bundy more than a month ago. Why hasn’t he been arrested?

On April 18, 4th District Judge Lynn Norton issued an arrest warrant for right-wing activist Ammon Bundy in the defamation case brought against him by St. Luke’s Health System. The warrant was the result of Bundy violating a court order that barred him from intimidating or harassing witnesses, St. Luke’s attorney Erik Stidham said.

More than a month later, Bundy still hasn’t been arrested.

Law enforcement consultant and former Ada County Sheriff Gary Raney told the Idaho Statesman that is likely because of a key distinction — the warrant for Bundy’s arrest is civil rather than criminal. Because of that, Raney said, the timeline to arrest Bundy is different than if he were wanted on a criminal charge.

“There’s nothing that obligates the sheriff as to when to serve (the warrant),” Raney said. “It doesn’t mean they have to put themselves in danger to do this.”

Idaho’s rules of civil procedure allow judges to issue warrants if there’s probable cause that an individual is in contempt of court and is also likely to disregard a written notice to appear. Bundy has not appeared in court for the St. Luke’s proceedings.

The rules stipulate that civil arrest warrants must be executed “in the same manner as a warrant of arrest issued in a criminal case.” Warrants don’t include a timeline for arrest, but Raney said criminal warrants carry more urgency.

“It’s not like we have a victim out there and a potential for another victim,” Raney said.

Raney applauded Gem County Sheriff Donnie Wunder for avoiding a conflict with Bundy, who gained notoriety after participating in two armed standoffs against federal officials in the mid 2010s.

Several emails and phone calls to the Gem County Sheriff’s Office from the Statesman asking about the arrest warrant have gone unanswered. A Statesman reporter who went to the sheriff’s office in Emmett on May 8 was told the sheriff was not there and would be gone for the rest of the week.

Raney noted that it’s unusual for a warrant to remain unserved for so long.

“Normally, everything would have been served well before now,” Raney told the Statesman. “That said, anyone who had openly threatened law enforcement and gathered people to physically resist service would be treated with the same caution.”

Shortly after Norton issued the arrest warrant, the People’s Rights Network, an activist group Bundy founded, sent an alert claiming Bundy’s Emmett home was “surrounded by law enforcement.” Officials with the Gem County Sheriff’s Office said deputies briefly stopped by Bundy’s home but left after being told he was not there.

The group then called on the public to come to Bundy’s house for a barbecue, adding that attendees could camp on the property overnight.

Last month, Bundy confronted sheriff’s deputies who came on his property to serve him with court documents related to the case. Following the confrontation, Wunder told St. Luke’s his office would not serve Bundy for fear of escalating the situation to violence. The hospital system asked the Idaho Supreme Court to direct Wunder to serve Bundy as part of his constitutional duties.

The next day, St. Luke’s dropped the request after Wunder agreed to serve Bundy.

For his part, Bundy has maintained that he has not acted violently. But St. Luke’s points to a statement Bundy made in the Idaho Dispatch in December, when he claimed that if pushed in the lawsuit, he would “meet ’em on the front door with my friends and a shotgun.”

Bundy suggests he has sheriff’s support
In an interview with the Statesman, Bundy gave his own theories about why the Gem County Sheriff’s Office hasn’t arrested him.

Bundy said he believes Wunder, whom he has spoken to on the phone since the warrant was issued, disagrees with how St. Luke’s acted during the child welfare case.

“Why do I think I haven’t been arrested yet? Well, I think there’s several different things,” Bundy said by phone. “One is, I think the sheriff here has actually looked at this thing and he’s just not comfortable with St. Luke’s claims.”

Bundy said there had “been an effort to educate law enforcement” about the case.

“Overall, they’re starting to really see more and more — and it’s going to happen more and more, I promise you that — that this is not what St. Luke’s is saying it is,” Bundy said.

Bundy said he also believes the sheriff’s office has not executed the warrant because Bundy has surrounded himself with his supporters.

“I’ve got people here, friends, that are constantly here, making sure that something —imminent action — actually doesn’t happen against me,” Bundy said.

When pressed multiple times by the Statesman, Bundy did not answer whether he could see his supporters — whom Bundy referred to as friends and neighbors — becoming violent if the sheriff’s office did try to arrest him.

    Warrant issued for witness intimidation
In December, Judge Norton issued a protection order that prohibited any defendants or agents of the defendants from using force to intimidate, threaten or harass anyone who had testified in the case or might be called as a witness.

In April, St. Luke’s successfully argued that Bundy had broken that order, resulting in Norton issuing the arrest warrant. St. Luke’s attorney Erik Stidham pointed to Bundy’s tendency to talk about violence in online videos and writings as evidence of the potential threat he could pose.

At least three witnesses were unwilling to testify in the defamation lawsuit because they fear the tactics used by the former gubernatorial candidate and his followers, Stidham said. The hospital attorney said that if Bundy is allowed to continue his threats, it could jeopardize further witness testimony.

Included in the hospital’s examples of Bundy’s violent rhetoric was a February post on the People’s Rights Network website, court files showed.

“There is no silver bullet to securing liberty,” Bundy wrote. “It is going to take unity, suffering and the willingness to use violence in defense, like it always has. Stop believing that some convention or other plot is the answer. Stop thinking that the courts or elected representatives are going to save us.”

In a later post, Bundy denied that those words had anything to do with the case.

When asked about St. Luke’s noting his online words, Bundy reiterated his belief in the post’s content.

“How do you think we became the country we became, and how do you think that any battle or anything that we’ve ever been involved in that secured freedom has always taken (violence),” Bundy told the Statesman. “You can’t deny history, right?”

    Process servers deterred by Bundy
St. Luke’s has said no private process servers would deliver documents to Bundy because of his reputation for leading protests outside of people’s homes and targeting them online. Bundy also contacted Wunder’s office to report private process servers for trespassing on his property. Idaho law does not explicitly exempt private process servers from trespass laws.

Bundy has said he feels harassed by process servers and how frequently they’re delivering documents related to the defamation case.

Numerous private businesses serve process, meaning they deliver court documents to involved parties to ensure they’re aware of proceedings. Raney said they typically handle civil cases like divorces.

Raney said sheriff’s offices will sometimes fulfill those duties when private agencies have safety concerns. That can happen when a person is “volatile” or poses some other danger, Raney said. And servers can’t just leave documents in a mailbox. Idaho law requires them to be personally delivered to ensure the person involved in the proceedings receives the documents

“You can’t just leave them on the front step expecting (the person) to come home and find them and consider that service,” Raney said.

Raney said despite the delay in Bundy’s arrest, he believes “justice is going to be served.”

“Bundy’s going to be arrested,” Raney said. “He’s going to go to jail. He’s going to go to court. But it doesn’t need to happen today.”

A 32-year-old Florida man was arrested in Virginia on Tuesday after police said they caught him trespassing at a preschool with an AK-47 in his vehicle. The man, identified as Eric Sandow, allegedly told officers who approached him at Dolley Madison Preschool in McLean that he was on his way to the CIA. The agency’s headquarters are about a mile away from the school. A subsequent search of his vehicle turned up the AK-47 and a handgun, according to Fairfax County Police. He is now charged with felony possession of a firearm on school property.

Man who parades AR-15 at school bus stop posted admiring remarks about Hitler: report

A Maryland man who alarmed families by showing up at a bus drop-off site for elementary school students has apparently posted admiringly of Adolf Hitler, a report said Thursday.

J'den McAdory, who made national news last week for his daily presence at the drop-off site in Severn, posted comments to his Twitter account May 11 that appeared to praise the Nazi dictator, reported WBAL-TV.

"I did hours of research on A-H," McAdory posted. "I gotta say, he's a remarkable leader."

McAdory told the TV station the post was not referring to Hitler and insisted those were the initials of a relative whom he refused to name, but Howard Libit, executive director of the Baltimore Jewish Council, said extremists used A-H as code for the Nazi leader.

"'A-H' generally stands for Adolf Hitler, I don't know of another explanation for it," Libit said.

Despite the post seeming to indicate McAdory had done hours of research on the topic, he claimed not to know much on Hitler or his leadership.

"I haven't thought too deep about it," he told the TV station. "I'll need to think about that one more."

McAdory, who sometimes wears a "Make America Great Again" hat, claims his months-long demonstration was a protest against Democratic Gov. Wes Moore's gun safety laws, but community members don't appreciate his armed presence at the bus stop.

"We're not interested in having people with guns patrolling the community," Carl Snowden, with the Caucus of African American Leaders. "Every time you turn around, there's another mass shooting, and we're trying to prevent that from occurring in Anne Arundel County."

A New York woman was hit with an indictment and charged with making “multiple threatening calls” to LGBTQ businesses in Denver only weeks after the tragic Club Q mass shooting, a hate attack which left five patrons dead and 25 injured. Sharon Robinson, 40, allegedly phoned at least four LGBTQ spots in the weeks after the Colorado Springs bloodbath and made threats including “shoot your bar up” and “you’re gonna be shot up like Club Q,” according to the indictment announced Wednesday. Robinson is also accused of slinging homophobic slurs in her calls, and a grand jury determined she purposefully targeted her victims due to their “actual and perceived sexual orientation”—which could carry a longer sentence if she is found guilty. The New Yorker has been let go on a $50,000 bond, but the conditions of her release prohibit her from traveling outside the city unless for trips to the Colorado federal court she will be prosecuted in, AP News reported. Robinson’s attorney declined to comment to AP.

And why? Just one very simple reason. Treasonous conservative/America Hating/Republicans have to use lies and false propaganda to constantly motivate their voters with fear hate and anger. So they have to constantly invent new enemies they can falsely accuse. Which means after decreed of gains and acceptance they are attacking LGBTQ hoping to make them a fake enemy. And also deflect from the obvious fact it is the treasonous conservative/America Hating/Republicans who are the true groomers and threat to children.

Activists Gear Up for ‘Terrifying’ Pride Month As Threats Increase, Brands Drop Out

When Susan Steinberg, the chairman of the Mahwah Pride Coalition in Mahwah, New Jersey, began organizing a Drag Queen Story Hour for Pride Month last year, she anticipated it would be well-attended and relatively non-controversial. Though Mahwah, which has a population of about 26,000, tends to skew conservative, Steinberg says residents have largely been supportive of local Pride events. “We live in a very nice town,” says Steinberg, a realtor. “People are very friendly most of the time.”

Then someone asked Steinberg if she had seen a flier being circulated under doorsteps and among local Facebook groups, accusing the drag queen hosting it of being a “known pornographer” and claiming the event “normalized pedophilia and abuse of children.” The backlash went national: the Mahwah Drag Queen Story Hour was publicized on the far-right transphobic Twitter account Libs of TikTok, and Steinberg says the mayor of Mahwah received more than 300 calls protesting the event. She went to the police to see if she could add extra security in light of all the threats, but she says they told her she would have to pay extra. “We’re a small group,” she says. “[We] just don’t have the resources.”

Man Terrorized Black Visitors to White Woman’s Home for Months: Feds

A Kansas man who allegedly used “guns, death threats and racial slurs to intimidate Black people and interfere with multiple federally-protected rights” has been indicted by a federal grand jury, the Department of Justice announced Tuesday. Austin Schoemann, 30, allegedly flashed his gun and berated two young Black men at a gas station, and threatened a third Black adult who came to their defense with his weapon. The indictment also alleges Schoemann threatened to harm or kill Black visitors to a white woman's home for months, at times shouting threats and slurs outside her property whenever he believed she was hosting or preparing to host Black people. He is charged with using the internet to bombard the white woman’s family members with videos and messages in which he “repeatedly threatened to shoot and kill Black people,” according to the indictment. Schoemann could face up to 10 years behind bars for firearms charges and five years for distributing threatening material online, and at least seven years for brandishing a firearm during a crime of violence.

Ashli Babbitt’s Mother Arrested After Striking Woman at Pro-Jan. 6 Event

The mother of Ashli Babbitt, Micki Witthoeft, was arrested Tuesday evening after striking a counter-protester at a right-wing event outside of the Washington, D.C. jail where many of the Jan. 6 Capitol riot defendants are being held.

Witthoeft, 58, was spotted by The Daily Beast being taken into custody just after 6:45 p.m. She was surrounded by officers and handcuffed before being walked into a waiting police van.

The arrest comes just one day after Witthoeft’s alleged violent outburst was caught on film and later reported to police. A senior law enforcement official confirmed to The Daily Beast that the arrest was related to the earlier assault.

“58-year-old Michelle Witthoeft, of Spring Valley, CA, was arrested and charged with Simple Assault and Destruction of Property,” Hugh Carew, a D.C. Metropolitan Police Department Public Information Office, told The Daily Beast after publication.

In the video, she can be seen racing after a counter-protester holding a megaphone and a camera. It’s unclear what precedes the incident, but the woman’s megaphone is blaring a loud siren sound, likely annoying the crowd of right-wing protesters gathered in support of the imprisoned Jan. 6 defendants.

As the anti-fascist protester raises a middle finger, Witthoeft raises her arm and strikes the woman before shoving her off the sidewalk. Witthoeft then continues following the woman as she runs away, grabbing her megaphone and smashing it before running off.
