Go back more than 10 years when DOJ and intelligence agencies wrote a report pointing out that white supremacist and other far right extremist groups were recruiting ex military to become domestic terrorists. The treasonous conservative/Republicans just threw a fit and accused everyone that even read the report of being unpatriotic and attacking our troops. They made so much noise squealing like pigs stuck under a gate the whole report was scrapped and noting was ever done to address the threat.

So those far right domestic terrorist groups were allowed to flourish so Trump and treasonous conservative/Republicans could use them to stage a deadly insurrection, attempt a coup, and try to overthrow our government and free and fair elections.

That represents a reduction on the 612 groups documented in 2018 and it is also far fewer than the 1,360 that were active in 2012. The decline in active groups under Trump is a common historic pattern when Republican presidents are in office.

Late Friday night the Justice Department released new videos from the January 6th Capitol riot where one insurrectionist pledged to drag former vice president Miek Pence through the streets for treason that led to him calling for Donald Trump's former running mate to be decapitated.

CNN's Amara Walker shared the videos -- with a warning about the language -- that showed the bearded rioter looking into his camera and raging at Pence for betraying supporters of the former president.

In the video the unidentified man can be heard asking if Pence held up the certification of Joe Biden as president before launching into a profanity-laden attack on the former vice president.

"I'm hearing that Pence just caved. Is that true?" he asked. "I'm telling you, if Pence caved we're going to drag motherf*ckers through the streets. You f*cking politicians are going to get drug through the streets because we're not going to have our f*cking sh*t stolen."

"If we find out you politicians voted for it we're going to drag your f*cking asses through the street," he continued before turning back to Pence.

"Let me find out Pence -- let me find out you treasoned (sic) the country. I'll f*cking drag your ass too" he shouted. "Cut their head off! You do the right thing or we're going to force you to do the right thing."

Second man to plead guilty in Whitmer kidnap plot and will testify against others

A second man accused of plotting to kidnap Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer will plead guilty and testify against the other alleged conspirators, according a new court filing.

Kaleb Franks, of Waterford Township, will agree plead guilty to kidnapping conspiracy, which carries a possible life term in prison, and testify for the government at a trial set to start March 8, reported The Detroit News.

The 27-year-old Franks was scheduled to stand trial in Grand Rapids with four others charged in the plot, while a sixth man, Ty Garbin, pleaded guilty last year and will serve a six-year prison term in exchange for his testimony.

Prosecutors say evidence shows Franks was angry at pandemic safety measures imposed by Whitmer last year and became involved with extremist groups that opposed those rules.

Kamala Harris's husband Doug Emhoff to be first 'second gentleman'

Second gentleman Doug Emhoff was visiting Dunbar High School in Washington, D.C. on Tuesday when the Secret Service rushed him from the event and out of the building.

CNN reported that a "credible" bomb threat was called into the school while he was visiting to celebrate Black History Month.

"We have to go," reporters traveling with Emhoff said the agents said.

The principal followed shortly behind, also exiting. About 15 minutes later an announcement told teachers to evacuate the building.

Emhoff is the first "second gentlemen" in history and also the first Jewish spouse of an executive office official. It's unclear if he was the target or if it was an unconnected event.

FBI arrests ‘Cali Bois’ extremist on gun charges for trying to arm ‘Boogaloo’ movement: report

Federal authorities are attempting to disrupt efforts by the "boogaloo bois" movement to incite a violent race war that will bring down the federal government.

"The FBI quietly arrested a man living in Pomona late last month after he apparently attempted to sell gun attachments to a local group of anti-government extremists to make their firearms more deadly and easier to conceal, according to court documents," the Los Angeles Daily News reports. "Matthew Edward Chen was arrested on Jan. 28, about a week after he sold three auto sears — devices that can be attached to a firearm to make it fully automatic — to a purported member of the 'Cali Bois,' a California-based group that subscribes to an ideology known as 'Boogaloo,' an online movement that wants to bring down the U.S. government by encouraging civil war through violent acts."

Chen allegedly sold the auto sears to a second "Cali Bois" member — who was actually an undercover FBI agent — and then invited the agent to his apartment "where he allegedly showed the agent more weapons, silencers, and videos of himself firing guns in the desert."

The FBI agent described the interaction in court documents.

“Chen then returned to the kitchen with a rifle slung around his neck and carrying a Glock semi-automatic handgun. The handgun had a removable stock. The rifle had a removable silencer,” the FBI explained. “Chen provided the (undercover agent) with instructions regarding how to install an auto sear on the Glock handgun, and demonstrated how…the handgun would operate as a fully automatic firearm.”

The "Boogaloo" movement has a violent history.

"In the complaint, the FBI noted other attacks it believed were inspired by the Boogaloo movement: A 2019 shooting at the Earl Cabell Federal Building in Dallas, in which only the attacker was killed; and two 2020 shootings in Northern California, in which Steven Carrillo, an active-duty U.S. Air Force servicemember, was charged with killing a security guard outside a federal building in Oakland and a Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Department deputy," the newspaper reported. "According to the Program on Extremism at George Washington University, which posted the criminal complaint against Chen, at least six Boogaloo members have been arrested in California since 2021, including two who later pleaded guilty to attempting to help Carrillo avoid arrest by federal agents. Around the country, at least 44 people espousing Boogaloo ideology have been arrested in the last two years, according to the program."

The FBI alleges "Cali Bois" movement "maintains active chapters" serving the Los Angeles, San Francisco, Sacramento, and San Diego areas.

Chen was released after posting $120,000 bond.

A U.S. Congressman is calling on Americans to own "sufficient" weaponry to overthrow the government, suggesting they should do so "if 30 to 40 percent agree" the nation is living under "tyranny."

"If 30 to 40 percent could agree that this was legitimate tyranny and it needed to be thrown off they need to have sufficient power without asking for extra permission – it should be right there and completely available to them in their living room in order to effect the change," U.S. Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) said in a video (below) posted by Right Wing Watch.

Congressman Massie, who recently came under fire for tweeting a quote by a pedophile-pornography possessing neo-Nazi and falsely attributing it to French Enlightenment philosopher Voltaire, appeared on far-right Youtuber Tim Pool's show.

Pool's videos get "millions" of views each day, according to The Daily Beast, which adds he "has racked up more than a billion views and millions in earnings while dangerously whitewashing the far right."

Massie, known for his assault-weapons brandishing Christmas family photo this week was widely mocked for arguing against Medicare for All, because "Over 70% of Americans who died with COVID, died on Medicare.”

During Pool's show, according to Right Wing Watch, the YouTuber added that he believes the Second Amendment entitles Americans to own nuclear and biological weapons.

Police in Louisville have arrested a man after a Democratic Party candidate was reportedly targeted in a shooting.

"A person fired a gun at Louisville Democratic mayoral candidate Craig Greenberg in his office on Story Avenue on Monday morning, police say. No one was injured, but an article of Greenberg's clothing was hit, Louisville Metro Police Chief Erik

"Metro Council President David James told WLKY that someone went into Greenberg's office and fired multiple shots at him. Both James and Chief Erika Shields say they believe Greenberg was the target. James called it an assassination attempt," WLKY-TV reports.

The Kansas man arrested for allegedly threatening to assassinate President Joe Biden suffers from PTSD after accidentally killing a young child during a firefight in Afghanistan.

"Scott Ryan Merryman, 37, was arrested last month after claiming he had been instructed by God to 'lop off the head of the serpent in the heart of the nation,' which allegedly meant murdering Biden by delivering a 'fatal head wound,' states a criminal complaint filed Jan. 28 in Baltimore federal court," The Daily Beast reported. "Merryman had a 'decorated' five-year stint in Army Airborne, enlisting in 2005 at the age of 20, his court-appointed lawyers said in a letter sent Monday to Chief Judge James K. Breder of the federal district court in Baltimore."

Merryman spent 15 months in Afghanistan and eventually became addicted to oxycodone.

While in the VA's Psychiatry & Addiction Recovery Treatment program, Scott "worked to process his war trauma, including a chaotic firefight in which his partner was [killed] and Scott inadvertently killed a young child who hd been standing next to a Taliban fighter shooting an AK-47 at the troops."

The legal document notes multiple suicide attempts and his PTSD.

‘We will kill’ your mother ‘but first we will kill you!’: Hundreds of threats of violence sent to school board members

More than 200 death threats and threats of violence sent to school board members across the country have been documented, including one sent over the Christmas holidays last year to the adult child of Brenda Sheridan in Loudoun County, Virginia.

“It is too bad that your mother is an ugly communist whore,” Reuters reports the hand-written note read. “If she doesn’t quit or resign before the end of the year, we will kill her, but first, we will kill you!”

Reuters calls the missives "a rash of terroristic threats and hostile messages ignited by roiling controversies over policies on curtailing the coronavirus, bathroom access for transgender students and the teaching of America’s racial history."

The Christmas death threat was just one of 22 sent to Sheridan or all her fellow Loudon County school board members.

“Brenda, I am going to gut you like the fat f‑‑‑ing pig you are when I find you,” read another threat.

The 220 threats Reuters documented were only the ones reported to police.

In Pennsylvania’s Pennsbury school district school board members received a message that read: “This why hitler threw you c‑‑ts in a gas chamber.”

And in Dublin, Ohio a note to the school board president read, “You have become our enemies and you will be removed one way or the other.”

Last fall the National School Board Association (NSBA) wrote to the White House to ask President Joe Biden to take action to protect local elected officials, sparking a wave of right-wing outrage from conservatives, Fox News, and other far-right outlets.

“As these acts of malice, violence, and threats against public school officials have increased,” the letter from the NSBA read, “the classification of these heinous actions could be the equivalent to a form of domestic terrorism and hate crimes.”

Conservatives latched on to that letter, falsely claiming parents calmly voicing concerns at school board meetings were being called domestic terrorists, and claiming also that Attorney General Merrick Garland had agreed to spy on parents.

None of that was true.

Those false claims forced the NSBA to retract the letter and apologize, in an act eerily similar to a 2009 report from the Obama administration's Dept. of Homeland Security that warned of the potential for a rise in right-wing extremism.

That classified report sparked outrage from conservatives, forcing it to be withdrawn and the work of a DHS intelligence unit created to combat domestic terrorism "stopped."

The report sounds like it could have been written today.

"Many right-wing extremists are antagonistic toward the new presidential administration and its perceived stance on a range of issues, including immigration and citizenship, the expansion of social programs to minorities, and restrictions on firearm ownership and use," the 2009 report said, as CNN noted at the time.

The report was titled, "Right-wing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment."
