I see, well your logic is indeed original, though hapless. You plan to help the middle east and the muslim world by attacking people in the west and the christian world? One might hasten to explain that the two have nothing in common, but I figure you would simply miss the obvious point.

And what "way" are you showing to the world exactly? Atheism has always been a minority ideology in the west. So if I am to assume that by "the way" you mean "the western way," then I must also assume you intend to give atheism some large amount of credit for western civilization when it has nearly always been resigned to the corners of western civilization. What a splendid trick. But we shouldn't take what isn't ours.

 

well if you scroll back to an earlier post, the divide I was talking about amongst atheists is a rather general one. Some atheists hypocritically attack christianity, but not Islam. If this was through fear, then fair enough, nobody should have to put their personal safety at risk. But many atheists are openly attacking those that give serious criticism to Islam. Possibly, wrongly believing those people being critical of Islam makes them racists.

In some Muslim countries the penalty for apostasy is death. People in such countries have no options other than to be forced to believe.

I don't claim Western Civilisation comes from atheism. Western Civilisation comes from secular ideas, such as freedoms of speech. These are not atheist ideas, atheism, agnosticism are results of such ideas.
