I wonder what happened to such a promising work of...ahem...trash?!

Due to recent findings of voter fraud and tampering it has been found that their managing partner @Nathan Wolf was operating in 'bad faith' practices. Due to his desire to be #1 he attempted to destroy others hard-work in order to prop up his own self-serving drivel.

Amazon is currently investigating if they should keep his crap in rotation.

Due to whistleblower protection laws we are unable to identify the 'source' of his demise from this site, but rest assure we are indebted to this individual for ridding us of Mr @Nathan Wolf and his two-dozen or so 'fake' accounts.

This may not rid this community of the 'trolls' but it will serve notice to individuals that us AUTHORS will not be bullied or disappear into the night due to people who SOLE purpose is to be an ASS.

So, in closing, I would like to say goodbye Liberty Mountain as you took away 72-hours of my life I cannot get back. SMH. What a Difference... Oh, I've said to much.

Ah Tcs, no one is required to kiss anyone's ass over at WRIST. You came over and got in some trouble, and instead of saying "Sorry", you took an aggressive posture (i.e. DOM <-- says so right under your avatar) and found out that the boss over there (that's me) is quite intolerant of aggressive behavior. Having suffered at the hands of aggression and trollish behavior here for years, I created WRIST with the idea of attracting only nice people, and, stellar writers. The owners here never cared because this forum never made them any money, only the video site. They treated moderators like trash, which is why all of them (save for a few new ones) are gone. At WRIST, we play nicely. There are no down votes. You can like something, you can comment, but you can't trash anything. As an author, you can edit whenever you please, not just in the first ten minutes. It's a very author-friendly site.

If you feel, Tcs, that we simply got off on the wrong foot, and that I misjudged your intent, you simply need to reapply and I'll approve your account. I've never claimed to be perfect, only that I'm trying to build a safe place for authors, those who love to read, and those who enjoy a friendly community.

 

This points up something I have oftetn wondered. What do votes mean? As an author I have posted on sites which allow various votes from up/down via 1 to 5 up to 0 to 10. I usually ignore anything but comments and, of course, sales on the sites my books are sold on. It seems that on a typical 1 to 5 site anything less than 4 is a thumbs down and a 1 is a deliberate attack! If I were to score a story I read on such a site I would approach with an assumption of 2 and a half to start and I would add for good points, like plus one for perfect spelling and grammar, plus one for keeping me glued to the story and subtract for bad points, such as utter disregard for consistency, technical impossibility (eg needing three hands on one person to hold someones wrists{1} tear off their clothes {1} and make phone call {1} all at once). I would never vote against a story because I don't like the genre (eg necrophilia isn't my choice of fun reading).

In short I don't understand how these are meant to be used.

 

I wish this site had that voting system. It just gives a basic voting system. Either you vote positive or negative for the story you read. It is up to the reader whether or not they liked the story overall.

 

I ended up taking down my writing from this website for some of the same reasons that prevoius authors cited.

It hurts to think that another author would downvote someone else's story just to move theirs higher on the ranking. I loved the amount of views that my writing got here, but at this point, it's just not worth having my work here.

Maybe at some point I'll republish here, but if I do, I won't allow votes, only comments.

I do too Melanie, and I hope you will bring your work back to us. I would hate to left in a sea of mediocicy or worse and although I'm sure there are multitude of good writers on sexstories yours are special and appeal to women and to men, as well! There are not a lot of women in this field and I hate to see one go away! Just my humble begging, STAY and lets chase the riff-raft off

 

The most ridiculous part of that is that it's only on that front page for 30 days. They will trash and bury a story forever so they can look good for 30 days.

From now on, I will try to make sure I have a complete plot line for a story before I publish. I've only published two chapters of the same story thread on xxx, but I've found myself stuck on plot development. I could write an obvious ending for the series, but I think the series has way too much potential for me to just wind it up like that. I feel like it was a mistake for me to publish the stories without having a definite goal for it to reach, much like the Bush Administration's invasion of Iraq without an exit strategy. I have other stories I'm working on, some with many chapters, but I won't publish them without having a definite place to wrap them up.

If that's your style, go for it! I myself proofread a thousand times, my reasoning being that if I find it understandable and easy to read, then my readers will as well. I do this for fun, though, as well, and part of my fun is satisfying my OCD brain that my story is as close to perfect as I can get it. If not proofreading is the way you have fun, then who the fuck am I to criticize? If it ain't fun, don't do it!

Actually I never start writing the detailed text until I have at least a more-or-less complete outline of the story. I imagine this comes from thirty years of technical writing (manuals, bids, project reports).

 

The powers that be at xnxx suggested to me that I not make age an issue at all. I've found that with a little creative prose, I can convey the image of my characters without actually mentioning their age. If I give a general physical description, such as, " the tiny girl was perfect, from her pretty freckled face and barely budding breasts, to the bald slickness of her tiny slit," then there's nothing for the law to really object to. The way pedophilia laws are these days, however, makes me understand why the website has to be ultra careful. You're not just risking the site to be shut down, you're inviting federal investigators to become part of your life.
