  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    Best regards,

I actually try to veer away from using "cunt." Unless it's being said by a character, or the inner-monologue of the character is crass, I just think it's too forceful a sounding word for "pussy;" the hard "c" and the clipped "t" really don't evoke the image of something soft, warm and wet. If I'm writing about pussy, I'll usually use soft-consonant describing words like "lips," "petals," "slit," "folds," etc... If I'm not writing "pussy" itself, I'll sometimes say "nethers," "erogeneity" "womanhood" or "sex." Words I'll never use for pussy are: gash, ax-wound, box, cunny for damn sure, beaver, and snatch; unless of course, a crass character uses those words.

In my mind, there is a hierarchy of penis words. "Penis" has no hard consonants, so at least for me, it evokes an image of something soft, and flaccid. "Prick" and "pecker" both make me think of a small, ineffectual penis. They're both hard sounds, but the soft "p" and the euphemism itself give me the mental image of a penis that pokes, rather then penetrates. "Dick" with the hard "d," hard "ck," and one-syllable brutality gets you a sizable, good sound for "penis," but "cock..." for me, "cock" takes the cake. Hard "c," hard "ck," one syllable brutality, and the "awe" sound, which evokes a sense of power and size. So generally, I use "cock." Describing words for cock are pretty benign; "shaft," "length," "girth," "head " etc...

I usually describe the anus by its parts for better imagery; "rim," "spokes," "aperture," "star," "sphincter." If I'm describing the inside I'll use "channel," "sheath," or "coil," if I want to evoke the tightness of it. If I want to evoke the taboo, dirtiness and power-play aspects of anal sex, I'll usually use "asshole," though sometimes I'll use "shithole" if I really want to turn up the dirtiness. Scat really isn't for me, so just mentioning shit is about as far as I'll go.

I think it's a great word for a female sex organ
      not a reproductive organ
AND DEFINITELY NEVER NEVER should it be used in any derogatory way!!!

Reading BashfulScribe's question, I couldn't immediately think of any "trigger words" that I really hate. Then I got to "cunny" and had a physical reaction. Not a good word, haha., very anti-sexy. I agree with White Walls on the matter of using generally softer-sounding words to describe the vagina. I think "cunt" can be effective when used properly, but because of the derogatory connotation of the word, I think those opportunities are few and far between.

Greetings everyone. I've been having a great time reading the posts on this thread and learning more about my fellow authors.

I've never liked the word cunt because if it's obvious negative connotations. However, I have used the word once or twice in my writing when I was quoting what someone said to me.

I will look for another way to say certain words due to the connotation that often comes with a word.....the cunt word does have a rather harsh connotation associated with it. So I look and look at other languages for a different way to say a word. For example in Serbia-Croatia the same word has two entirely different meanings......PICA in Croatian means pussy but in Serbia it means pizza, which makes me laugh same word, two entirely different meanings.
To get back on point, I'll go with the standard cunt word as a word I try to avoid (although I did manage to use it twice in this answer).

I try to keep an open mind about words I'm using in a story, because its not supposed to be me saying them. Use of the word cunt or cunny can be of way of describing the person saying the word. The word cunny could be someone older talking to someone pretending to be younger, and cunt can be used to show the hardening of a character. Words I don't appreciate in real life are Master/slave words. So I guess I'll apoligize in advance if you read my stuff and I say cunt. Thats my opinion.

I think when you're in the throes of passion it can be hot word and it can definitely heighten and intensify the experience. However, when it's used over and over in writing it can be a real turn off very quickly and detract from an author's story.

Having a love, hate relationship with my favorite holiday. In the middle of a dry spell with my writing because my brain is searching for horror movies to watch. Incredible to think that something so trivial can take your mind to a whole new space. Heres to the wish that October 31 passes and I can get my head back into the sexual writing mode. Anyone else have something that literally can stop them dead in your tracks as far as story ideas and thoughts?

I have the same problem. I spend so much effort trying to set up the situation, I get bored when it finally gets around to the sex.

I get like that quite a bit as well. I published a story with my friend Jim in August and I really only started writing again a couple of days ago. It was almost as if the will to write with sapped out of me. When I write I have to "feel it" and when I don't, and it's forced, it always turns out bad or not the way I want it to sound. I found it's just easier to wait until I'm in the mood again.

I too have my 'go to' when the writing well goes dry. For me, I delve into music. Put on music that I enjoy, put on the headphones, and do some inane writing (such as notes for a future story) just really anything to get the juices flowing again.

On the words front - Many of the comments on this are so very true and I agree but for me there are very few words that I hate on their own, it is all about the context they are used in that matters. Like in life away from the keyboard, a stream of profanities for no reason indicating a poor vocabulary will often offend me, yet I like many others have often resorted to "Oh fuck" when something goes wrong and words fail you. In a story the 'c' word used at random is pointless yet to convey that raw passion that burns through your brain at the height of ecstasy then it is entirely appropriate.

Writing blocks - Work so often drags me away from writing and means I have to focus on less pleasurable things. The two biggest challenges I find is firstly allowing outside influences to dictate the direction of my work. A nasty email or feedback will sometimes send my work to a dark & cruel place as I take out my anger on the characters. More than once I have reread something a few days later and had to soften it from its original words. Secondly and weirdly enough, reading other good works can also impact on me if I am writing around the same sort of subject. I find myself going "Oh I like the way they did that," or "that was so much better than I could do." and will either be tempted to steal or plagiarise and sometimes I read what I have written and close the page of my work in disgust knowing that I will never be as good as that.

Which bits are missing? Do you mean the sex part or the ending?

I totally agree with Julie's post. A string of profanity for me shows limited vocabulary and a limited imagination with words. I think a little bit of profanity when used correctly can greatly enhance a story though. More than anything, I like dialogue to feel realistic and authentic and profanity can achieve that end when it's used correctly and sparingly.

I also agree with Julie's post concerning negative comments. A negative and baseless comment really affects me. I put so much work into my writing and when someone totally tears it down it's very disheartening. My old editor used to say that if you're going to write you need a very thick skin and that is something that I'm still working on developing.

If someone I respected tore my work up, I would feel the same as you, Melanie. But most people here will read a story and because its not there exact kink or to dirty for them its a shitty story. Which in some cases is true but not all. Being honest on this forum comes at a premium specifically when it comes to stories. Look at how the story voting is anonymous in some cases, if you trash someones works honestly, don't you want them to know your name. These are just my opinions.

Except it would appear that is not always the case as quite frequently I have found my stories with negative votes yet every name shown (which isn't the full list) appears positive. so still have no idea who dislikes it and why.
