I thought he was trying to make a grand entrance by being cute OR this is another abreviated "text speak" word as an introduction OR he was running late for something and didn't think/ have time to correct his typo.

I either grew up around most of these words or encountered them with regularity starting in high school. Back before every schmuck with an internet connection felt the need to talk like that. You know, back when you all looked down on the people who did talk like that.

Now all of you want to hop on and don't see any irony in it.

Personally, I've always thought certain things sound stupid and have always used the bare minimum of slang but it's a lot more understandable when somebody who that kind of talk is natural to does it, especially since it's their word and their world that word comes from. It describes a specific thing.

Most who toss it around don't even know what it means. Like all co-opted slang. And the dictionary needs to stop trying to define street lingo.

 

Tell black folks to stop wearing dreadlocks which they stole from another culture...and then I and my fellow crackers will also stop fo shizzle, my nizzle.

Black culture does not equal ghetto culture. Black people have made their contributions to it but so has literally every race on Earth at one point or another. That's what you don't get. Thot is just yet another product of a culture that has included every race but definitely not every class.
