  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    Best regards,

    StanleyOG.

    Just a thought:
Maybe it would be possible to limit the engine size that a newly qualified, or a young driver could legally drive for a length of time.

Putting more responsibility onto the parents, to make sure that their children are not driving around in something that they cannot handle.

When we were in England it was common to read that many fatal/near fatal car accidents that involved newly qualified drivers, or young teens, had them driving cars that were more powerful than they had been learning on.
It seemed to be the done thing for all new drivers to go out and drive some high powered car to the limit just after they had passed their test, with no experience or knowledge of the different handling characteristics or speed differential.

They would pass their test on some 1200cc saloon and then start driving a 2ltr, or more powerful sized, car without understanding the quickness or the handling characteristics. They would assume that a 2ltr car will perform in the same way as the 1200cc car they passed their test on.

Maybe so but true to my personal experience. The only time I came near to a serious accident was when an old guy pulled out of a petrol station without looking. If the guy on the other side of the road had not been observant I would have had a head on collision with him as I swerved to avoid the fella pulling out. It was scary!

Tragedy? Yes. Important in the big scheme? Not so much. The deaths on 9/11 were an attack on our society. The deaths of 15 teenagers in stupid, pointless car accidents was the result of self indulgent irresponsible kids.

And death is a part of life; we all get one birth and one death. What we do with the in between part is what defines our worth.

Rage on; you are defining your worth.
