For some reason that always stays warm. It is my toes, nose , ears and fingers that need warming.

 

We got a little snow yesterday mostly ice. I WANT A FOOT OF SNOW!!

 

Here in the Philly area I have 9 inches of snow outside from yesterday's storm. If you watched the Eagles vs Lions game you would have seen how crazy the snow was here. Tomorrow we are projected to get another 3-6 inches. Just enough to keep everything pretty before Christmas

 

During the winter of 1978, I lived in King of Prussia, PA (although we all said we lived in Valley Forge, cough, cough). That winter we had a snow storm that left 30" on the ground, more where it drifted. I remember stopping at the grocery store the night before it hit, there was not a drop of milk, loaf of bread or fresh meat in the place. I think that's a Philly phenomenon.

 

Playing in the snow can be exhilarating...

And it just started to snow again and I had plans with a friend to go for a walk this afternoon after not walking for 10 days. Dam.....

 

Looks gorgeous! Got some snow shoes? I'll go for a walk with you! We can build some anatomically correct snow people, then go back up and get warm by the fire. Do you have a fireplace or do we need to build a bonfire?

 

That sounds like a rather nice day. Would that happen to include a foot massage after the snow shoeing? My fire places are all electric.

Maybe I will dig out my Yak Trax and go take some pictures before it gets dark.

 

I'd very much like to massage your feet, or whatever muscles might ache. And the electric fireplace will do in a pinch. Or maybe we could generate or own heat under a duvet...

And yes, if you are able, more pictures would be nice. Chicago is still waiting snow, but it is never quite as beautiful as what's in your first picture.

Snow ? Would love snow here. Its grey and raining. Someone called it "British Weather". I call it plain soggy.

 

Supposed to get 25 cm by Sunday so I guess it won't be melting right away and they call for above zero temps by next week so that is a bonus.
