You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

The idea that we ought to leave the growing up to whoever, just have the cops stop hassling all the cool kids is rather sophomoric.

Distilleries get licensed and inspected. Which is a very good idea; it keeps them responsible and the product safe.

Why the government shouldn’t regulate and supply it might be a compelling argument, but honestly, I’m perfectly okay with idea that they require it be ordered from dispensaries.

Why shouldn’t we earn tax dollars on that shit? We sure as hell earn it on all the other vices.

All the infrastructure for weed production and distribution has been in place for decades. Why should the government profit from the markets that were developed by people who’ve been building this industry since before you were born?

Furthermore ..who’s been getting sick from weed? It’s a self regulating market. For instance ..if you buy a bag of shitty weed from a guy ..the next time you’ll just go to another guy.

Ah yes, let’s absolutely legitimize criminal growers from all over the world instead of making sure we do it safely and legally here.

Because that makes all kinds of sense.

And the fact is that guy is now out of business, and so’s the other guy. What’s he going to try to sell you now? Something you can’t get from anywhere else; something addictive.

Nah man. Go to the dispensary, get what you want, know it’s clean.

Are you talking about legalizing it in Jersey? Good for you!

Up until today we had dispensaries that we’re selling medicinal marijuana. Now it all comes from the same source, at least in Ontario. Each province is handling things a little differently.

You can go into a depanneur in Quebec and buy booze; I think everywhere else you have to go to the beer/liquor store. I could be mistaken about that. Oh, and most wineries can sell their own product.

And like I said, right now everyone can grow their own. I think it’s one plant per person to a maximum of 4 plants per household. I might be off on the details, but I think that’s how it’s being handled? So if people want to be diligent, they don’t have to buy it from anyone.

Up until today, there were either illegitimate and criminal growers who were ruining houses with grow ops - and I mean that; try to sell a house that’s been used and busted as a grow op; it’s impossible to get insurance or anything else, utilities refuse to service the house, you may as well plow it under and use it as parkland - or cartels/smugglers coming in from other countries, or there were legit growers providing medical marijuana to dispensaries. The legit growers are still there; they’re just selling to the provinces now.

You can’t grow weed for the purposes of selling it unless you’re a legit grower.

Marijuana devastated Colorado, don’t legalize it nationally

In the years since, Colorado has seen an increase in marijuana related traffic deaths, poison control calls, and emergency room visits. The marijuana black market has increased in Colorado, not decreased. And, numerous Colorado marijuana regulators have been indicted for corruption.

In 2012, we were promised funds from marijuana taxes would benefit our communities, particularly schools. Dr. Harry Bull, the Superintendent of Cherry Creek Schools, one of the largest school districts in the state, said, "So far, the only thing that the legalization of marijuana has brought to our schools has been marijuana."

In fiscal year 2016, marijuana tax revenue resulted in $156,701,018. The total tax revenue for Colorado was $13,327,123,798, making marijuana only 1.18% of the state's total tax revenue. The cost of marijuana legalization in public awareness campaigns, law enforcement, healthcare treatment, addiction recovery, and preventative work is an unknown cost to date.

    SMOKE ON MOTHER FUCKERS.

Jeff Sessions has said, "Good people don't smoke marijuana."

That is the reason marijuana has been illegal as long as it has been. Those who have opposed the legalization of marijuana have not been afraid the marijuana smokers were endangering their health. They were afraid that marijuana smokers were enjoying themselves.

Back in the day I knew a lot of folks who smoked marijuana. They were good people.

During the War in Vietnam smoking marijuana had political significance. The fact that Richard Nixon and Spiro Agnew disapproved was an incentive to toke up. I could assume that those who shared a joint with me shared my opposition to the War in Vietnam.
