I never thought I wold see this. I was one of those that naively thought it could not happen here and an entire political party would try to push the United States of America into having a dictator like Hitler and a country like Nazi Germany,

But they do. That is how much they hate the United States of America and every great thing it has ever stood for.

And just like in World War II the Americans who do love their country must unite to fight fascism.

Liz Cheney shreds GOP for silence on Trump's 'Nazi propaganda'

Former Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) on Monday hammered the Republican Party for its refusal to condemn Donald Trump for describing his political opponents as "vermin."

While linking to a video clip of the Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel refusing to condemn Trump for his rhetoric, Cheney warned of the dark historical underpinnings that it entails.

"When [McDaniel] refuses to condemn the GOP’s leading candidate for using the same Nazi propaganda that mobilized 1930s-40s Germany to evil, it’s fair to assume she’s collaborating," she wrote on Twitter. "History will judge Ronna McDaniel and every Republican who is appeasing this dangerous man."

Cheney, once a staunch Republican partisan who fell out with her party over its reaction to Trump inciting a deadly riot at the United States Capitol building, is not the only political observer to call Trump out for espousing openly fascist rhetoric.

MSNBC's Joe Scarborough on Monday, for instance, accused Trump of going "full-on Hitler" while also pointing to Trump's recent remarks about immigrants "poisoning" the nation's bloodstream.

Trump spokesman Steven Cheung rejected such comparisons between his boss and Hitler, and followed it up by delivering an ominous threat to the former president's critics.

“Those who try to make that ridiculous assertion are clearly snowflakes grasping for anything because they are suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome and their entire existence will be crushed when President Trump returns to the White House," he said.

I don't think you understand what fascism is. From what I have read about Hitler and propaganda, I have not seen Trump doing this.

D.C. insider warns of 50k 'army' of Trump loyalists descending on D.C. if he wins

During an appearance on MSNBC's "Morning Joe," Axios founder Jim VandeHei followed up on his own reporting from Monday morning about a growing "army" of Trump loyalists who are being vetted a year before the election with a plan to descend upon Washington D.C.

Speaking with co-hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski, the concerned-appearing Axios editor pointed to the piece he co-authored with co-founder Mike Allen as he described the efforts to recruit Trump supporters who would take over running the government after the purging of career federal officials.

Using his reporting that, "Hundreds of people are spending tens of millions of dollars to install a pre-vetted, pro-Trump army of up to 54,000 loyalists across government to rip off the restraints imposed on the previous 46 presidents," VandeHei painted an even darker picture when speaking to the hosts.

"We always get sidetracked by the rhetoric that Trump uses." he began. "He is being very, very specific with us about what he's going to do."

"We have reporting this morning that what's different if he wins is that he's going to come into office with an army of 40- to 50,000 people, ready to staff the government," he continued. "He's not going to have the restraints of cabinet officials who disagree with him. He's going to do everything he can to purge anybody who's professional staff who has been there a long time and have a year's worth of vetting."

"They're asking people about their ideology, books they've read, name one figure who you believe captures your spirit, your political philosophy," he elaborated. "I think the obvious answer there for a lot of them is going to be Trump. And if you answer Trump, you pass this loyalty test. Then they can put you into the bowels of government where the action happens."

"It's one thing to have rhetoric," he continued. "It's another thing to take the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of Defense, the Department of Justice and put in there people who believe what Trump believes so that you can do the things that he says he's going to do."

"So I won't assume he's saying these things with bombast. He'll come in hell-bent on doing it and this time it will be a much more organized government to be able to do it with which is why I think this is the most important election of our lifetime because the contrast is massive and both sides would come in with teams ready to do what they want to do," he warned.

'Horrifying': Trump's 'fascist' rhetoric leaves CNN guest reeling

    Matthew Chapman

Former President Donald Trump's Veterans Day vow to "root out" the "radical left thugs who live as vermin" is "fascist" rhetoric that should put American voters on high alert, argued ex-CNN host Brian Stelter Monday.

This came in the middle of a discussion with "CNN This Morning" anchors about Stelter's new book, "Network of Lies," detailing behind-the-scenes tradeoffs that Fox News' leaders and personalities made to push Trump's election disinformation in an effort to keep ratings up — despite it being against some of their better judgment.

"What's so disconcerting, to some degree, is ... is the perverse incentives that create, you know, Fox's internal conundrum of, our viewers want this, even though it's not true, we have to give it to them because of stock prices, because of ratings, because of all of those things," said anchor Phil Mattingly. "What changes that?"

"What changes that is one-by-one, day-by-day, person-to-person conversations," said Stelter. "The awkward conversations some of us are going to have at Thanksgiving next week ... they're the ones we have to talk about, listen to, and learn from. There are examples of that happening. I write about that towards the end of the book. I wanted to write an optimistic story. I had to write it, because there were so many e-mails and texts that came out. And they were so revealing about how it worked inside Fox."

"But also, how it's working to this day," Stelter continued. "All of these big lies about the 2020 election, they're the predicate for Trump's re-election campaign. And I'm glad you just played that clip of him describing his opponents as 'vermin.' That's a horrifying clip, that's a fascist clip. Oftentimes, fascism is perceived as an expansionist, war-like idea from the 1930s, from Hitler's Germany, but Trump is this kind of isolationist fascist in terms of his rhetoric over the weekend. He goes to give a Veterans Day speech and talks about 'rooting out' 'vermin' from the left."

"That is shocking, and it's not the kind of thing we can ever get numb to," he added.

'Entire existence will be crushed': Trump critics threatened by campaign spokesman

A Trump campaign spokesperson is threatening critics who are comparing the ex-president’s Veterans Day remarks to those made by Hitler or Mussolini, saying they will be “crushed” when he returns to the White House.

Many responded with outrage after Trump, in a speech on Saturday, likened opponents on the left to “vermin,” and promised to target them if he wins in 2024.

“We pledge to you that we will root out the communists, Marxists, fascists and the radical left thugs that live like vermin within the confines of our country, that lie and steal and cheat on elections,” Trump said, claiming the threat from them is greater than the threat from countries like China, Russia, or North Korea, as The Washington Post reported.

“Trump’s use of the word ‘vermin.’ both in his speech and in a Truth Social post on Saturday. drew particular backlash,” The Post added, citing several experts.

“The language is the language that dictators use to instill fear,” Timothy Naftali, a senior research scholar at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs, told The Post. “When you dehumanize an opponent, you strip them of their constitutional rights to participate securely in a democracy because you’re saying they’re not human. That’s what dictators do.”

The paper also spoke to noted NYU historian Ruth Ben-Ghiat, who said that, “Calling people ‘vermin’ was used effectively by Hitler and Mussolini to dehumanize people and encourage their followers to engage in violence.”

Trump campaign spokesperson Steven Cheung, who also worked on the 2016 campaign and in the Trump White House, told The Post, “Those who try to make that ridiculous assertion are clearly snowflakes grasping for anything because they are suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome and their entire existence will be crushed when President Trump returns to the White House.”

The New York Times’ Peter Baker summed up The Post’s report, writing: “Spokesman denies that Trump rhetoric echoes that of dictators like Hitler and Mussolini and declares that those who say it does will find ‘their entire existence will be crushed when President Trump returns to the White House.'”

Also responding to The Post’s report was author and MSNBC analyst Jonathan Alter, who wrote: “As we learned from Mein Kampf, when a demagogue tells you what he is going to do, believe him.”

Former Wall Street Journal managing editor Bill Grueskin, now a professor at the Columbia Journalism School, remarked: “In denying that Trump sounds like a Nazi, his spokesman sounds a lot like .. Goebbels.”

MSNBC's Mika leaves Joe Scarborough speechless with angry rant on Trump trashing military

After running an ad from President Joe Biden's campaign highlighting Donald Trump's ugly and appalling criticisms of American service members, "Morning Joe" co-host Mika Brzezinski launched into a brutal rebuke of the former president and his GOP supporters that left Joe Scarborough searching for words.

Jumping right into it, Brzeezski addressed the viewers, exclaiming, "How is it that these Republicans in Congress and some in the Senate and these presidential candidates can stand by and say nothing about a man who would say something like that about our veterans? What was it? About our dead -- our dead soldiers? 'What was in it for them, they're losers?'"

"Like how do we go on without just asking about that?" she continued as her voice began to break. "I know sort of like the litmus test is was the election stolen? There are a million others, things like that that Donald Trump has said. The cruelty is the point; it leads to all authoritarianism. It leads to what he wants to do to our government."

"And if you don't want to believe that, that's fine," she explained. "But let me ask you, Republicans in that audience or in Congress or on the debate stage, can you stand by and support a man who would say that about our veterans? I want that question asked. Why are they given a pass?"

After a brief pause, Scarborough interjected and said, "They're not given a pass," which led his co-host to shoot back, "They're not asked about it — it just goes by."

Scarborough once again paused before finally claiming, "They're always asked how can you support Donald Trump to be nominee, and the answer is they can't — they can't say the truth."

MSNBC's Joe Scarborough condemned Donald Trump's latest "fascist talk" and said the former president was channeling Adolf Hitler.

The ex-president made two statements over the weekend – in a Veteran's Day post on Truth Social and at a campaign rally in New Hampshire – smearing his political opponents as "vermin," which is the language Nazis used to dehumanize their enemies and justify genocide.

"He just reveals more about himself," the "Morning Joe" host said. "The Washington Post, of course, reported a few last week that Donald Trump basically was making an enemy's list and said if he were elected president of the United States he would use his position as president and start going after Democrats, start going after political enemies, start going after -- it sounded like arresting even his former lawyers who no longer defend him. So you have all that talk, but you always had this fascist talk coming from him, and it was just a week or two ago that the Anti-Defamation League and many others were concerned when he was talking about immigrants, quote, poisoning the blood of America, and, of course, that's again just sort of calls for racial purity, which of course I find absolutely fascinating since we are a nation of immigrants."

"As Donald Trump himself knows – what were they called, the Drumpfs?" Scarborough added. "What was his last name? Drumpfs came here from Germany when -- just having a name Drumpf and being from Germany was seen as anti-American and seen as poisoning the bloodstream, and now we're going -- we're just going full-on Hitler talking about vermin."

Trump issues sinister threat to 'root out' leftists if elected in 2024

Former U.S. President Donald Trump pledged during a Veterans Day speech on Saturday to "root out" those he described as "radical left thugs that live like vermin within the confines of our country" if he's elected in 2024, an openly fascistic threat that drew comparisons to Nazi rhetoric.

"We are a failing nation. We are a nation in serious decline," Trump, the current Republican presidential frontrunner, told the crowd gathered in Claremont, New Hampshire. "2024 is our final battle."

The former president vowed to target communists and Marxists—ideological groups that he described as "radical left lunatics"—and "rout the fake news media until they become real."

"The real threat is not from the radical right. The real threat is from the radical left, and it's growing every day—every single day," Trump claimed. "The threat from outside forces is far less sinister, dangerous, and grave than the threat from within."

David DeWitt, editor-in-chief of the Ohio Capital Journal, characterized Trump's remarks as "rhetoric literally out of the Nazi playbook" and joined others in criticizing The New York Times for initially headlining its coverage of the speech, "Trump Takes Veterans Day Speech in a Very Different Direction."

The former president also said Saturday that his administration would launch the "largest domestic deportation operation in American history," institute "strong and ideological screenings for all immigrants," revive the Muslim ban, further slash taxes, gut regulations, and prioritize the approval of fossil fuel pipelines.

Trump's speech heightened alarm over his authoritarian intentions should he win another term in the White House four years after attempting to overturn the election that removed him from power. The former president is currently facing more than 90 felony charges, many of them stemming from his election subversion efforts and the January 6, 2021 insurrection that he provoked.

The Washington Postreported earlier this month that Trump and his allies "have begun mapping out specific plans for using the federal government to punish critics and opponents should he win a second term, with the former president naming individuals he wants to investigate or prosecute and his associates drafting plans to potentially invoke the Insurrection Act on his first day in office to allow him to deploy the military against civil demonstrations."

"In public, Trump has vowed to appoint a special prosecutor to 'go after' President Biden and his family. The former president has frequently made corruption accusations against them that are not supported by available evidence," the Post noted. "To facilitate Trump's ability to direct Justice Department actions, his associates have been drafting plans to dispense with 50 years of policy and practice intended to shield criminal prosecutions from political considerations. Critics have called such ideas dangerous and unconstitutional."

Philadelphia Inquirer columnist Will Bunch argued the scheme "would be, in essence, the military coup that [Trump] wasn't quite able to pull off on January 6, 2021."

Pointing to a recent survey that showed Trump leading incumbent President Joe Biden—who is running for reelection—in key battleground states, Bunch warned that "America is on the brink of installing a strongman in the White Housewhose team has been surprisingly open about their plans for an autocratic, 'Red Caesar' rule that would undo constitutional governance."

In response to Trump's threat to "root out" leftists, Bunch wrote on social media, "Looks like someone picked up the book of Hitler speeches on his nightstand recently."

Trump would have to come up with concentration camps because there is not enough room in our mental institutions to meet the demand now.

Trump says critics will be in 'mental institution' if he becomes president

Do you worry about a fascist takeover of the United States by a man accused of storing top secret documents in a ballroom? Then you might be one of the thousands of "losers and misfits" suffering from Trump derangement syndrome, according to the former president.

Donald Trump took to his social media site Truth Social Monday — in his first comment since the news of his sister's death — to raise awareness about this troubling new condition plaguing "Radical Left Zealots" who have raised concerns about his connection to the U.S. Capitol insurrection on Jan. 6 and potentially fraudulent Trump Organization business practices in the state of New York.

Among those Trump fears will find themselves detained in a mental institution are Special Counsel Jack Smith, former FBI General Counsel Andrew Weissmann, Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco and the Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, or CREW.

"Deranged Jack Smith, Andrew Weissmann, Lisa Monaco, the “team of losers and misfits” from CREW, and all the rest of the Radical Left Zealots and Thugs who have been working illegally for years to “take me down,” will end up, because of their suffering from a horrible disease, TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME (TDS!), in a Mental Institution by the time my next term as President is successfully completed."

I do prefer print stories though because they are in writing and people see parts of them whether they want to or not. Its called the scene of the eye.

Liz Cheney says RNC chair ‘collaborating’ with Trump’s ‘Nazi propaganda’
    Miranda Nazzaro

Former Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) ripped Republican National Committee (RNC) Chair Ronna McDaniel for dodging questions Sunday about former President Trump’s “vermin” comments, which Cheney described as “Nazi propaganda.”

“When @GOPChairwoman refuses to condemn the GOP’s leading candidate for using the same Nazi propaganda that mobilized 1930s-40s Germany to evil, it’s fair to assume she’s collaborating,” Cheney wrote in a post on X, formerly Twitter. “History will judge Ronna McDaniel and every republican who is appeasing this dangerous man.”

Trump is facing backlash over the language used on social media and in a speech marking Veterans Day in which he pledged to “root out” the “vermin” of the country.

“In honor of our great Veterans on Veteran’s Day, we pledge to you that we will root out the Communists, Marxists, Fascists, and Radical Left Thugs that live like vermin within the confines of our Country, lie, steal, and cheat on Elections, and will do anything possible, whether legally or illegally, to destroy America, and the American Dream,” Trump wrote in a post.

Pressed over the comments on multiple Sunday talk shows, McDaniel dodged reporters’ questions and said she would not comment on candidates and their messaging.

“I will say this, I know President Trump supports the veterans, our whole party supports our veterans. And I do think we’re at a very serious moment in our country,” she said on NBC’s “Meet the Press.”

Ruth Ben-Ghiat, a historian at New York University, told The Washington Post that “calling people ‘vermin’ was used effectively by [Adolf] Hitler and [Benito] Mussolini to dehumanize people and encourage their followers to engage in violence.”

During an MSNBC appearance Monday, presidential historian Jon Meacham linked Trump’s comments to the fascist dictators of the 1930s, saying “to call your opponent vermin, to dehumanize them, is to not only open the door, but to walk through the door toward the most ghastly kinds of crimes.”

In an earlier statement shared with The Hill, the Trump campaign railed against the criticism.

“Those who try to make that ridiculous assertion are clearly snowflakes grasping for anything because they are suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome and their sad, miserable existence will be crushed when President Trump returns to the White House,” it said.

Cheney, once a top-ranking Republican lawmaker, became one of the most outspoken GOP critics of the former president following the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol insurrection.

Since her departure from Congress last year, after losing her seat to Trump-backed challenger Rep. Harriet Hageman, Cheney has remained a critic of both the former president and his allies in the party.

Trump told writer he wants fans to take his words of violence to heart and act

    Sarah K. Burris
    November 13, 2023 4:54PM ET

Donald Trump actively wants his fans to enact violence on his behalf, a writer revealed in a new book.

ABC News reporter Jonathan Karl's new book Tired of Winning will be released at midnight, and among the bombshells is a conversation he reveals about Trump's supporters — and the effect the former president wants his violet rhetoric to have on them.

"I remember a conversation I had with him when we had the mass shootings in El Paso and Pennsylvania and Dayton in short order," Karl said on MSNBC Monday. "And there were real concerns there would be more. And he's using this language. This language out of the Third Reich — 'enemy of the people.'

"I said, aren't you concerned the people will take your words to heart? Aren't you concerned they will act on them?

"And without missing a beat, he said I hope they take my words to heart. I believe the press is the enemy of the people. So I don't know. Maybe it's an inability to have any kind of empathy or understanding of the consequences of your words, but that is consistent. That's not new."

Over the weekend, Trump referred to liberals as "vermin," a demeaning tactic many experts said was used by Hitler to dehumanize the Jews and other groups he targeted so that he could justify attacks on them.
