  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    Best regards,

So Obama and Trump both blocked Cassandra Saturn. Big whoop. I'd block him/her too if he/she weren't so amazingly annoying. I find his/her mental health issues fascinating. I guess the POTUS didn't.

Twitter is not a government agency. It is under no Constitutional obligation to compel anyone to associate with any particular person on their service. Just as I can put an X user on ignore for creating 120 threads a day, Trump, or whoever changes his diapers can block someone from his twitter account, so the President will not see hostile responses and get upset. It's probably all for the best.

but do you have your 2 cent opinion on this if Trump ordered Twitter to comply with his demands, for example, to silently shut down accounts he despises?

That would be an entirely different matter. Trump has no authority to order Twitter to do anything. His only legal option is to go to court and seek an order against Twitter. A judge would have to find a basis in law for such a thing.

In a normal procedure, the lawyers would cite the statutes which would apply and which justify their request for a court order. There are some states which have laws that allow a judge to order a specific person to stay away from internet social media sites. This is usually applied to convicted sex offenders who used social media to facilitate their crimes. I can't imagine any circumstance where such a thing could be applied to political speech. To "silently shut down someone's Twitter account" would require some type of threat or extortion, and either would be grounds for impeachment.

The Constitution guarantees freedom of the press and freedom of speech. An attempt to throw someone off of Twitter would be a violation of both at the same time.

Well let's make one thing clear, Trump isn't trying to shut down anyone's Twitter acoount. He may be ignoring people on Twitter, but that is his voice. Just because someone is exercising their right to free speech, doesn't mean that I don't have the right to ignore that person.

The President can take small comfort in the idea he is not being investigated. His National Security Adviser is being investigated, his Attorney General is being investigated, and his son in law is being investigated. Sooner or later, someone is going to ask what the common thread in all of this could be. Why would three long time supporters of Donald Trump, who had no great connection, either public of private, before the start of the campaign, all have clandestine contacts with the Russian Government?

On May 9, Trump fires the sitting Director of the FBI, and a week later, appoints a former Director of the FBI to continue the work.

    This is the investigation:
The way these thing go is pretty standard. Depositions will be taken from anyone and everyone. The first time someone talks about what the President said, didn't say, knew, or didn't know, the President will be under investigation.

    Clandestine meetings?
Can you name any person nominated for president that has not talked to people from other countries?
Did Hillary talk to people from other countries during her pathetic run for president?
Is there an law about talking to people from another country?

Comey was fired because he was not doing his job and he was leaking information to the press.

Plenty of people have talked to people from other countries. I've done it myself. If someone, say a US Senator were to ask me, "Mr. Zeage, have you talked to someone from another country?" I would say yes. I wouldn't wait until someone else told about the place and time, I talked to someone from another country, and then say, "Oh I forgot about that time."

As they say in my neighborhood, "that dog won't hunt." This is an investigation and it's happening right now. It's happening because people who work for the President, lied in public.

Whenever someone lies, the real question is not about what they said, but why they said it. Could any of these three men could have told the truth from the beginning and been in less trouble than they are now. Maybe, maybe not. But, they chose to lie and nothing can change that now.

Trump supporters don't seem to grasp what's really going on. There's really only two ways out of this. Either there is collusion with the Russians, or Donald Trump and the people he hires are idiots. There's no reason it can't be all of the above.

There are other reasons but democrats do not want to hear them.
Politicians lie. Not just republican politicians, all of them.
If they lie under oath there is something that can be done. If they are not under oath there is nothing that can be done.
There was no collusion between Trump and the Russians. Even Comey swore to that.
The people Trump hires are just like other people.
There is no reason they would not be allowed to talk to people from another country.
Even the democrat's god, Hillary talked to the Russians.

Democrats just cannot accept that Hillary got her ass beat.
It should be very simple. She is just too crooked for the people to elect.
All the investigation that the democrats can pile on Trump will not change that fact.

What you are describing is a "best case scenario" for President Trump. Try to look on the bright side of things. If there are reasons Democrats don't want to hear, an investigation will make a list of all of them. Maybe this will be like all the investigations of Hillary, where they spend a lot of time and money, but come up with nothing. Wouldn't that be a tweet worthy day.

Comey never swore there was "no collusion between Trump and the Russians." How would he know, one way or the the other, before any investigation is complete? What we have here is a President who keeps doing things a guilty person would do, all the while claiming there is no evidence against him.

Don't worry about it. Once Flynn, Session, and Kushner are given a chance to testify under oath, and explain why they lied about meeting Russian Government officials, I'm sure President Trump will be seen as the victim of the incompetent people he chose to run his administration. His supporters won't think any less of him.
