WALLACE: There is a tradition in this country -- in fact, one of the prides of this country -- is the peaceful transition of power and that no matter how hard-fought a campaign is, that at the end of the campaign that the loser concedes to the winner. Not saying that you're necessarily going to be the loser or the winner, but that the loser concedes to the winner and that the country comes together in part for the good of the country. Are you saying you're not prepared now to commit to that principle?

TRUMP: What I'm saying is that I will tell you at the time. I'll keep you in suspense. OK?...

WALLACE: But can you give a, can you give a direct answer you will accept the election?

TRUMP: I have to see. Look, you – I have to see. No, I’m not going to just say yes. I’m not going to say no, and I didn’t last time either.

It certainly isn’t news worthy

 

He will not give up his power he rather destroy the US .On his last day in office he use which are always very near him the nuclear GO codes and attack China.China will retaliate.Russia will stand aside and watch.Then make a move to be aworld power again.Trump will leave the bunker get into his private jet and fly to russia to be welcomed as a hero

 

You are falling for his trick. He knows how to work the media! By not answering that question, he ensures the light is shown on him... air time is taken away from other candidates.

That is how acts. It’s a brilliant method, free air time. If he looses and does not resign, all members of the military and all federal employees have an ethical obligation to remove him from office as they have all sworn to protect and defend our Constitution and bear true faith and allegiance to the same.

I plan to vote for him, but if he looses, Mr. Biden will be my new President and I will expect President Trump to step down.

 

You keep being scared and watching the news and getting more scared you’ll have a heart attack and an ulcer before november.

It's really simple. After a lifetime of losing, Trump has learned to never acknowledge the possibility of losing. This includes making any plans of what to do if and when he loses.

Trump can't answer the question because he doesn't know what he is going to do. If he tried to talk about losing the election, it would cause an ice cream headache brain freeze that would leave him writhing on the Oval Office carpet like a roach hit with a shot of Nicotinic acetylcholine.

He thinks being cagey when questioned makes him look ominous, but it just makes him look dumber than before, which is actually quite a feat.

The worst case scenario is a 25th Amendment action, where Trump would be temporarily suspended from office and Pence becomes the lamest duck ever, until the clock runs out.

 

his term ends on January 21, 2021, doesn't matter if he accepts it or not.

 

If Trump loses and refuses to step down, claiming election fraud, that will be a Constitutional crises of historical magnitude. That has never happened before in the United States. I doubt the police and the military will accept that.

 

My thoughts if he loses: a New president will be inaugurated regardless what Trump does, the
secret service has a responsibility to protect the president, I believe they will escort him safely to the oval office.

the story is a non news report .

the reporter basically got “no comment” and fox some how made a story out of it anyways .

the conversation should be how , why , some people accept that “no comment“ , twisted and padded to look like a comment , becomes a story.

That one little piece of my heart that still cares is a little sad for people that think “no comment “ is a comment

 

The reason it matters is that Trump leaves open the possibility that he will refuse to leave office. Considering the kind of person Trump is, we need to take that possibility seriously.

 

What if a super bowl team refused to stop playing the game after they lost ?

does anyone ever ask the coaches “what have you got planed for when you lose the big game ?”?

 

Considering how loyal Trump has been to the constitution I think you are exaggerating the seriousness of it all. It’s not even a serious question and it didn’t get a serious answer it’s not a serious news story it is seriously a waste of time

 

Trump demonstrated that he is unable to read the Constitution. He complained that the Constitution was "like another language." When a campaign aid tied to explain the Constitution to Trump, Trump's eyes glazed over, and he made it clear that the topic bored him.

 

It does not matter whether he accepts the results or not. If someone else is elected, that person will be sworn in and the previous president will be no longer the president whether they acknowledge it or not. Acceptance is not required.

 

The same look I got in my eyes in fourth grade when we had to go over that same math problem again week after week because the slow kids didn’t get it yet

 

Could imagine the unrest in the U.S. if Trump was removed from the White House by force.It would make black lives matter protest look like a gentle walk in the park.

 

It would make a great disaster movie or even miniseries for a Syfy channel or Netflix .

 

Trump was one of the slow kids.

 

Trump may need to be evicted from the White House.
