I am not sure this is going to remain the case. MyPillowGuy hasn't been indicted yet. But there is plenty of evidence he has committed crimes. And right now Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss can certainly sue him for lying about them.

Let's pour one out for Mike Lindell: MyPillow Guy wasn't important enough to get his own indictment

One week ago, when Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis read out this list of 19 people indicted for a plot to steal Georgia's presidential election, many of the names were familiar from the two-and-a-half years of fallout from Donald Trump's attempted coup. Rudy Giuliani, John Eastman, Jeffrey Clark, Kenneth Chesebro, Sidney Powell and others: Willis read a seemingly exhaustive list of every buffoonish character who signed onto a conspiracy to install a TV game show host as dictator. In addition, there were 30 other unindicted co-conspirators, who were unnamed in the document but whose identities have likely been uncovered by reporters at the Daily Beast: people like Bernie Kerik, Phil Waldron, Tim Fitton, and Boris Epshteyn. Truly, a stunning array of the biggest scumbags in America.

But there is one name that eagle-eyed observers who have closely followed this story will note is missing: Mike Lindell, the comically self-important maniac who founded the second-rate linens company MyPillow.

Kanye West's old publicist, Trevian Kutti, got to be listed as part of what the charges describe as Trump's "criminal enterprise," but poor old Mikey boy didn't rate a mention in the 98-page document. Same story with the hefty indictments filed against Trump in federal court by special prosecutor Jack Smith. Reporters quickly figured out who the six unnamed co-conspirators in the 2020 election interference and Capitol riot indictment were, but the MyPillow founder was not one of them. I guess Mike Lindell just wasn't important enough to the Big Lie conspiracy to rate a mention, much less a pile of indictments of his own. It certainly wasn't for lack of trying on his part. Throughout the attempted coup and in the many months since, Lindell has been among the most eager beavers of the Big Lie gang. At the time, he always made sure to be seen going in and out of the White House as though he was participating in the scheming. As late as January 15, 2021, he was showing off for the cameras, letting White House reporters see a stack of papers he was dramatically touting that suggested last-ditch plans for Trump to order a military coup.

Since then, Lindell has spent untold millions of dollars pursuing various harebrained ideas to claw back President Joe Biden's electoral victory and somehow "reinstate" Trump to the White House. Much, if not most, of that money has thankfully been pocketed by fraudsters taking advantage of Lindell's delusional belief that he can simply spend his way into the fascist dictatorship of his dreams.

It's been over two years since the coup, and while Lindell's fellow conspirators are facing the prospect of jail, he's mostly coasting along, still hyping the Big Lie and still being exploited by grifters. On Wednesday, he had another embarrassing event, billed as an "election crime" summit, in which he would supposedly offer the big breakthrough to "fix the elections." Instead, the event was a confusing flop, and unsurprisingly, continued to advance no evidence of the "stolen" election.

'These are not drones': Mike Lindell backtracks on election surveillance plan after legal questions

MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell insisted he would not use drones for election surveillance after reports suggested that the move could be illegal in some states.

At an election summit last week, Lindell showed the audience a drone attached to a Wi-Fi network detection device. Lindell said the contraption would be used at polling sites to determine if voting machines were connected to a router.

But The Daily Beast reported that surveillance by drone could violate criminal trespassing laws in Louisiana and other states.

POLL Should Trump be allowed to run for office?

On Monday, Lindell ensured his supporters that his plan could go forward without using drones.

"I wanna take away all the rumors that were started all around the country," the pillow executive and election conspiracist explained to podcaster Charlie Kirk. "These are not drones, everybody. We brought it in on a drone just for effect and to make it kind of cool, bringing it in all the excitement."

"The drones have nothing to do with it," he added. "So it is legal, believe me, we've had our legal team on this for over a year. And it's just, it's like radio waves are capturing it."

Lindell has not explained how a device connecting to a router proves election fraud.

MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell complained on Tuesday that he has been forced to borrow millions of dollars over the past few months.

During a telethon for 16 fake electors in Michigan, Lindell revealed that he no longer has access to the wealth he once had. He previously said he borrowed $10 million to keep his company afloat.

"They've taken me down just in a bigger way," he said. "I've had to borrow millions of dollars this summer. I've never been in debt like this for a long, long time."

POLL: Should Trump be allowed to hold office again?

"When they weaponize the government against us, it seems like it's insurmountable," he continued while soliciting funds for the phony electors. "And these people that don't have the resources, like you say, that I had, I don't have anymore, but I had."

Lindell faces a $1.3 billion lawsuit from Dominion Voting Systems, and Smartmatic is seeking an additional $2.7 billion.

'Don't scold me!' Mike Lindell flips out on Dominion lawyer during deposition

Trump-loving pillow monger Mike Lindell has been facing a barrage of defamation lawsuits since the end of the 2020 election when he began pushing multiple bogus claims about voting machines stealing votes away from former President Donald Trump.

Chris Dehghanpoor, an investigative reporter at the Washington Post, flagged a video on Friday from a deposition that Lindell took with an attorney representing Dominion Voting Systems employee Eric Croomer in which Lindell regularly lashes out at the lawyer.

The video shows the MyPillow CEO reacting with hostility to even basic questions from the attorney – and he even got feisty when the attorney simply asked him to confirm that they had only met one another a mere four minutes prior to starting the taped deposition.

POLL: Should Trump be allowed to run for office?

After the attorney informed Lindell that he was going to try to take the deposition slowly to make it easier for the court reporter to take down a transcript, Lindell immediately flew off the handle.

'Don't sit and scold me already, mister!" Lindell fired back. "I'll do whatever I have to do... You're just a lawyer, you're an ambulance-chasing lawyer, so don't start with me, I got all day! I'll take as much time as you want, so let's go! You're not my boss, you're just a lawyer, frivolous lawyer!"

According to Dehghanpoor, Coomer this week made a new filing calling for sanctions against Lindell on the grounds that Lindell has been "combative, vulgar, disrespectful, non-responsive, evasive, and consistently loud" during depositions.

Long before he entered politics I was seeing MyPillowGuy's commercials on TV. And since I have not had a day without pain since January 1995 they interested me. Especially since the pain is in my neck and shoulders. I thought a My Pillow might help me get a better night's sleep. And I mentioned that to another old busted Roughneck I know. 'Vulgar, threatening, loud': Mike Lindell freaks out over 'lumpy' pillow claim

According to a Friday, September 8 report published by The Daily Beast, MyPillow chief executive officer and election denier Mike Lindell recently lost his cool over claims that the pillows he sells are flawed.

Per the Beast, footage from a recent deposition "with a former Dominion Voting Systems executive who filed a federal defamation lawsuit against" the CEO "shows Lindell melt down when he's shown a customer complaint describing a MyPillow product as 'lumpy.'"

Lindell insisted, "No, they're not lumpy pillows … when you say lumpy pillows, now you're an a**hole! You got that? You're an a**hole is what you are! Lumpy pillows? Kiss my a**. Put that in your book."

The conservative CEO then added, "Obviously you don't have a MyPillow, too. You don't, do you?"

Per the report, "In a motion filed this week asking the judge to sanction Lindell for his behavior," Dominion Voting Systems executive Eric Coomer said the conspiracy theorist was "'vulgar, threatening, loud (and) disrespectful' during three different depositions in the case," according to the Colorado Sun.

The Beast notes that "Lindell refused to provide a direct answer to virtually every question asked, instead opting to shout over Dr. Coomer's counsel and then provide lengthy, meandering filibusters that each consumed substantial amounts of time and several pages of transcript, the motion reads."

Mike Lindell's belligerent Dominion depositions: Hawking MyPillow dog blankets on Steve Bannon's podcast and scaring away court reporters

Mike Lindell in a deposition for a defamation lawsuit brought by former Dominion executive Eric Coomer.US District Court

    • Ex-Dominion executive Eric Coomer deposed Mike Lindell three times in a defamation lawsuit.

    • Lindell insulted him, his lawyers, the judge, and took a break to go on
    • 's podcast.

    • Coomer asked a judge to sanction him and provided footage of the depositions.
Over the past year, Mike Lindell sat for three depositions in a defamation lawsuit brought by Eric Coomer, a former Dominion Voting Systems executive who was the subject of a false conspiracy theory that he was on an "Antifa conference call" to rig the 2020 election.

    None of them went well.

Throughout the depositions, the MyPillow CEO called Coomer and his lawyer "criminals," "disgusting slime," and "evil" and rambled so much that the court reporter transcribing one deposition refused to show up the next day, according to court filings and deposition video and transcripts reviewed by Insider.

During the final deposition, on August 23, Lindell left the room in the middle of questioning to call into Steve Bannon's "War Room" podcast, where he hawked his company's pillows, sandals, and dog blankets.

"Well, Steve, I'm in the middle of a deposition for a big attack on MyPillow right now, and it's disgusting," Lindell told Bannon during the episode, before telling listeners they could get a discount on pillows with the promo code "WARROOM" for the company's 20th-anniversary sale.

"We have the MyPillow beds — the best beds in history," Lindell continued. "You haven't even heard about 'em yet."

"Mike Lindell, you're a patriot and a hero," Bannon responded. "Go back into your deposition and give them hell. Give them hell from the War Room."

When Lindell returned to the deposition, he insisted on keeping his cellphone with him, according to a filing from Coomer's legal team. When he stood up to take a call in the middle of questioning, Coomer's lawyers called it a day.

Mike Lindell in a deposition for a defamation lawsuit brought by former Dominion executive Eric Coomer.US District Court
"Dr. Coomer's counsel finally suspended the deposition when Mr. Lindell again stood up and walked out of the room to take a call, shouting that Dr. Coomer's counsel was a 'jerk' as he left," Coomer's lawyers wrote. "The video record of these events is provided herein and is demonstrably worse than any attempt to describe the conduct."

Lindell plans to go on the offense
The details of the depositions were recounted in a motion Coomer's attorneys filed Thursday asking a judge to sanction Lindell for his conduct.

The motion asked the judge to force Lindell to pay for all the costs associated with the depositions and to force him to sit in front of a judge for seven hours to finish answering questions.

Coomer asked for sanctions against Lindell alone and not his attorneys, noting that he "recognizes the challenges associated with representing such an unmanageable client."

"How do you guys sleep at night?" Lindell asked Coomer's lawyers in a March 9 deposition. "You obviously don't have a MyPillow. That's a fact."

In an interview with Insider on Friday, Lindell called Coomer's lawyers "creepy" and "evil."

"They're just frivolous, horrible, evil lawyers," he said. "I've done a lot of depositions and they're a different breed."

He said he had to take a personal "emergency call" before the deposition ended, and that Coomer's lawyers were aware it was coming. He also said the interview with Bannon was prescheduled.

"They scheduled this deposition. And I said, 'I have a podcast every day for 10 minutes,'" Lindell said.

Lindell also told Insider he plans to sue Coomer, and rattled off other purported litigation efforts to challenge election technology.

"We're going to file to get rid of the machines that goes in two counties in Texas," he said. "We're taking what's-her-name in Wisconsin."

Coomer's lawsuit against Lindell and two of his companies — MyPillow and social media platform FrankSpeech — is distinct from litigation brought by Dominion, which has also sued Lindell in a case that remains pending.

Following threats to his life because of conspiracy theories that he manipulated the election results, Coomer filed a hail of lawsuits against right-wing influencers and media organizations he claims defamed him. Newsmax and One America News have each settled lawsuits brought by Coomer.

Lindell has attempted to go on the offense with countersuits against both Dominion and Smartmatic, a rival election technology company, baselessly advancing voter fraud claims. A federal judge dismissed his counterclaims and sanctioned Lindell for frivolous filings.

Lindell says his pillow company has nothing to do with his election claims
In the Coomer case, Lindell has been "combative, vulgar, disrespectful, non-responsive, evasive, and consistently loud," using "rapid-fire filibusters" and refusing to answer questions during depositions, according to Coomer's lawyers.

"When reprimanded for his constant non-responsiveness, even by his own counsel, Mr. Lindell responded, 'I'm so sorry, Your Highness,' and continued with the exact same conduct," Coomer's lawyers wrote.

Lindell's speechifying during one deposition moved so fast that a court reporter transcribing it "refused to come back for a second day and had to be replaced," according to the sanctions filing.

Lindell insists he will win. In the March 8 deposition, he expressed frustration that US District Judge Nina Wang, who is overseeing the case, had permitted discovery to go forward without ruling on his motion to dismiss Coomer's lawsuit.

He said it was "disgusting to our country" that Wang allowed the depositions to take place, and said he was aware she would be able to see his comments.

"I got a problem with the judge not making a ruling," Lindell said. "So there. Now go ahead. Now that the judge has that on record, now you don't have to worry about what me and the judge think about each other." After the deposition, Wang denied Lindell's motion.

Lindell has argued against the premise that MyPillow — which has used discount codes like "Dominion" and other phrases he associates with his fight against election fraud — should be held liable for his own views on the 2020 election.

He also bemoaned his own reputation changing.

"I'm branded as now 'election,' not 'MyPillow guy," Lindell testified.

During the depositions, Lindell fiercely guarded his pillow company's brand and bristled at any suggestion that one of its latest products, the MyPillow 2.0, could be subpar.

When shown a customer complaint that referenced "lumpy pillows," he erupted at Coomer's attorney.

"You don't have a MyPillow 2, don't you?" Lindell snarled. "Asshole."

'Autocratic', 'narcissistic' and 'fascist': Embattled MyPillow CEO lashes out at Dominion Voting Systems

MyPillow chief executive officer and 2020 election conspiracy theorist Mike Lindell "lost his cool during a series of legal depositions recently," the Star Herald's Deena Winter reports.

Lindell, who is one of ex-President Donald Trump's most vocal champions, "yelled, swore, called lawyers names, banged his fist on a table, and repeatedly slammed down a pile of legal documents during a March deposition he gave defending himself in a defamation lawsuit," Winter writes.

"Eric Coomer, former director of product strategy and security for Dominion Voting Systems, sued Chaska-based MyPillow and Lindell for promoting baseless allegations that the company helped rig the 2020 election against former President Donald Trump," Winter notes. In response, Lindell called Coomer a "scumbag" and then snapped, "How dare he come and sue MyPillow?"

The latest filing, Winter continues, "says Lindell took phone calls during his deposition and insisted on unscheduled breaks. At one point during his deposition, Lindell left to go on Steve Bannon's podcast, where he promoted MyPillow, offering deep discounts to celebrate the company’s 20-year anniversary. He then stormed out of his final deposition in Minneapolis in August."

Winter adds, "During one deposition, Lindell rejected the suggestion that he's spinning election conspiracies alongside promotions for his company, saying people don't know him as 'the MyPillow guy,' but as an 'election guy' and 'a guy trying to save the country.' He called Coomer's attorneys 'traitors' for suing his 'made in America' company."

Lindell whined "My company has been hurt so bad because of people like Eric Coomer. It's a joke saying MyPillow benefited from this" and attacked Coomer's lawyers. "When you say lumpy pillows, now you're an a–hole,” Lindell griped, per Winter. "Now he's an a–hole. He's an ambulance-chasing a--hole.'"

Winter also recalls that "in a motion filed Friday, Lindell asked the judge to throw out Coomer's defamation claim, denying he accused Coomer of rigging the election. The filing noted that Coomer lost his job after being outed for denigrating Trump on Facebook, calling him 'autocratic,' 'narcissistic,' and a 'fascist,' among other things."

    • said MyPillow was left crippled after American Express slashed their credit line.

    • "No reason, no explanation, just dropped it down last Tuesday," he said on the "War Room" podcast.

    • A Minnesota bank previously terminated Lindell as a client after calling him a "reputation risk."
MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell said that his company has been crippled by American Express's decision to slash its credit line.

"Steve, we really need everybody's help right now. We have things going on I'm going to let you all know this week," Lindell told fellow Trump ally Steve Bannon on the latter's "War Room" podcast on Monday.

Lindell said on the podcast that a sudden reduction in MyPillow's credit line with American Express was seriously affecting the company. Lindell told Bannon that MyPillow had been using American Express's services for the past 15 years.

"Out of the blue, they took our credit line from a million dollars down to $100,000," Lindell said. "Just cripples MyPillow. No reason, no explanation, just dropped it down last Tuesday."

A spokesperson for American Express told Newsweek in a story published on Tuesday that they weren't able to address Lindell's claims directly.

"We can't comment on specific customer accounts or applications, but I can tell you that American Express does not make customer decisions based on personal views or political affiliations," the spokesperson said.

This isn't the first time Lindell has had trouble securing credit for his company.

In February 2022, Lindell was terminated as a client by the Minnesota Bank & Trust a month after the bank called him a "reputation risk."

The pillow magnate has been a staunch advocate of former President Donald Trump's groundless election fraud claims. Lindell's avowed support for Trump, however, has greatly impacted his pillow business.

In July, Lindell auctioned off equipment from his pillow factory in Minnesota. Lindell said at the time that he was hawking equipment after the company lost more than $100 million in retail sales.

Lindell is also fending off a billion-dollar defamation lawsuit from voting technology company Dominion Voting Systems, and another from Smartmatic over claims that he made about both companies' role in the 2020 election.

Representatives for MyPillow and American Express did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Insider sent outside regular business hours.

MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell warned that his company was in danger of "collapsing" after American Express reduced his line of credit from $1 million to $100,000.

During a Thursday interview with conspiracy theorist Alex Jones, Lindell explained how his company had spiraled downward after retailers stopped selling his merchandise and Fox News made a "dirty deal" to settle a lawsuit with Dominion Voting Systems. Lindell is also facing a lawsuit from the voting machine company.

"When that happened, I had vendors get very nervous, and banks get very nervous about my bills," he recalled. "They're calling me up. I said, no, that doesn't even go into court 'til next year."

POLL: Should Trump be allowed to run for office?

Lindell said things got worse after American Express decreased his line of credit.

"Well, then when American Express did this two weeks ago, Alex, it's vendor after vendor I've had to meet with," he revealed. "They want to pull in their credit lines."

He said one vendor threatened to cut his terms from 120 days to 60 days.

"Instead of 120, you have 60 days where you're basically collapsing a whole company," Lindell complained. "So I've had to meet with each individual vendor and give them peace of mind saying, hey, we're here to stay."

"If you do this, you do collapse us like American Express is trying to do," he added. "And they — it was just, it's just [a] terrible, terrible attack."

    • Mike Lindell said MyPillow is facing multiple IRS audits.

    • Lindell claimed on the "War Room" podcast that the audits concerned call center staff.

    • "Now they're going after our employees. They made it very personal," Lindell said.
MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell says his pillow company is now facing five audits from the IRS.

Lindell told Steve Bannon on the latter's "War Room" podcast on Saturday that IRS auditors were looking into earnings made by his call center contract workers.

The audits concerned commissions earned by some employees who worked remotely during the COVID-19 pandemic, Lindell said.

"It started in California. Now there's three other states that are coming at MyPillow. And Steve, it's disgusting," Lindell told Bannon.

"They just keep attacking. Now they're going after our employees. They made it very personal," Lindell added.

The pillow magnate further claimed that the audits were politically motivated because of his support for former President Donald Trump's groundless election fraud claims.

"This is something that hasn't happened in 15 years, and all of a sudden there's 5 IRS audits against MyPillow in three different years," Lindell told Bannon.

Insider was unable to independently verify Lindell's claims about the audits. Representatives for MyPillow and the IRS did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Insider sent outside regular business hours.

Lindell has continually claimed that the financial crises he and MyPillow have encountered are happening because of his support for Trump.

Last month, Lindell claimed that MyPillow was financially crippled after American Express slashed its credit line.

Lindell is also fighting a billion-dollar defamation lawsuit from the voting technology company Dominion Voting Systems, and another from Smartmatic.

In July, Lindell auctioned off equipment from his pillow factory in Minnesota. Lindell said at the time that his company had lost more than $100 million in retail sales.

No, of course the IRS isn't weaponized.
Neither is the DOJ or FBI.
Nothing to see here, move along.

Surely the rightful winner of a national election should sit in the oval office. So what gives, eh?
