I posted this in another thread about circumcision and I'll repeat it here.

How come circumcision for men is considered a good thing (cleanliness, health reasons, etc.) but circumcision for women is considered mutilation?? You can't have it both ways, people!! In my opinion, whether you are male or female, it's mutilation!!

 

Well they are both mutilation, however the difference between the two is that a woman who has her clit removed is never going to have an orgasm. The point is to keep her from enjoying sex. A circumcised man is still going to enjoy sex.

Personally if I had kids I would not circumcise them. I don't get the point.

I don't think there is much of a difference.. probably just preference. I personally think uncircumsized penises are a bit weird looking and then I think they look like oozy aliens. I've never had sex with an uncircumsized guy before though..

Ah it is really interesting reading this. It just shows how cultures who would seem on a whole similr (i.e USA and UK) have such differing opinions on circumcision. Personally I am uncut but then again I do live in England. ere I to live in the US this might not be the same.
