I totally agree with most of your post. But the one part I disagree with is your statement about living like the world owes you something. I guess what I meant by "living like the whole world owes them something" is those people who just feel privileged or expecting something just for living. Everyone has the right to their own opinion and most of us get what we deserve; meaning what we earn. This happens for most of us because we work for a living and basically get what we pay for. Others in our society feel like they should always get the best job with the highest salary, or the best parking space, or be the first in line, etc., without working for it. There are divorces in both heterosexual and homosexual marriages so neither is a guarantee. Broken families are more the norm now than the exception so how well does that "traditional" formula work? Maybe if everyone just accepted whatever relationships people decided to have then those who enter into a relationship would be able to do so without fear of reprisal from the general population.
