1. Hello,

New users on the forum won't be able to send PM untill certain criteria are met (you need to have at least 6 posts in any sub forum).

One more important message - Do not answer to people pretending to be from xnxx team or a member of the staff. If the email is not from forum@xnxx.com or the message on the forum is not from StanleyOG it's not an admin or member of the staff. Please be carefull who you give your information to.

    Best regards,

    StanleyOG.

  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    Best regards,

    StanleyOG.

Welcome to Calling All Writers (CAW) #19!

Brief overview of the CAW challenge:

The Calling All Writers threads are a series of writing challenges that are open to any and all registered members of XNXX.com. The CAW, as it is abbreviated, was started by ejls, a member and forum moderator, back in early 2010. Since that first writing challenge, there have been 20 others, 17 regular and 3 offshoots.

    The CAW Winners Circle

The winner of the previous CAW becomes the temporary CAW Host. It's the job of the CAW Host to determine the theme of the next CAW challenge: to set the rules and regulations, to post the various phases, to answer questions, to moderate the CAW, and to announce the winner. CAW Hosts traditionally do not participate in writing a story for the CAW; if they do, it is listed as a non-entry.

There are three parts to a CAW: the writing phase, the reading phase, and the voting phase.

Writing Phase: The CAW Host determines the theme of the writing challenge. Sometimes a Host will post a photo and the story needs to be written based on the picture. Sometimes a Host will simply pick a theme. There are many different ways a challenge can be created, so long as whatever rules the Host implements does not conflict with XNXX.com's established rules. The writing phase begins when it is posted, and usually last 6-8 weeks, giving author's plenty of times to create a story or stories, if the Host permits more than one story per person. Sometimes stories are written by teams of two or more writers.

At the end of the Writing Phase the authors must get their stories posted. Sometimes a challenge will permit authors to post under their own names, and sometimes a challenge will require authors to send their stories to the CAW Host and the Host will post the stories, creating anonymity. When anonymity is the rule, then authors are not permitted to discuss their stories with other members, nor provide any posts or send any PMs or communicate in any fashion as to which is their story.

Reading Phase: This phase begins right after the Writing Phase ends and the stories are posted. This is when all members can read the stories for the purpose of determining which story they liked, and was the best with regards to the theme of the challenge. Typically one day per story submitted is allowed for the reading phase.

Voting Phase: This phase begins when the Reading Phase ends, and it usually lasts one week. This also allows some additional time for members to finish reading or re-reading the stories and post comments. Sometimes the Voting Phase is conducted by a forum poll, other times voting is sent in to the CAW Host account via private message (PM) if the Host wishes to keep the voting anonymous. When voting is anonymous, the CAW Host usually allows the creator of the CAW (ejls) to monitor the voting, so that there are no calls of impropriety. Or there may be a Co-Host who too can assist with tabulating the votes. The story that receives the most votes is the winner, and that author becomes the next CAW Host.

    CAW #19 Specific Rules:

Theme: This CAW will have both a creative theme and a technical requirement. Authors must be compliant with both parts to have their stories eligible for voting.

Creative Theme: The creative theme for CAW #19 is music. Music is typically a part of everyone's life in some way, shape, or form. For this CAW, you are to pick one song, and that song title becomes the title of your story. For example, if you selected The Star Spangled Banner, your CAW entry would be listed as: CAW #19: The Star Spangled Banner.

Readers/voters will be instructed to judge your story as to how well it relates to the title of your story, that is, keeping with the theme. Of course they will also judge it on the merits of whether the story is well-written. So, using the above example as your story title, if you wrote a story about the Battle of Fort McHenry in the War of 1812, you would be spot on with your story. Conversely, if you wrote about four teenagers spending a day at the beach and sexing it up, and one heard The Star Spangled Banner being played on a radio broadcast of a baseball game, your story would probably be panned by readers and deservedly so.

With at least hundreds of thousands of songs to choose from, the possibilities are endless. You are encouraged to include lyrics from the song in your writing to help convey the emotions or actions of participants in your story. Rod Stewart wrote a song "Every Picture Tells a Story" (it's the album title too) and we submit to you that every song has a thousand or more stories behind it. Pick a good one, and tell us a story.

Technical Requirement: There are two things that each authors likes to receive when entering a CAW, votes, and comments. I cannot help you get votes for your story, however, I can help you get comments. The technical aspect of CAW #19 is that each person who wishes to vote must submit at least one comment consisting of 25 words or more on each story that has been submitted.

This includes authors and non-authors. So, if you are an author of a story, and there are a total of 15 entries, you will be required to read each entry and then write at least 25 words worth of comments for that story. During an anonymous challenge, this means that you will be required to post comments on your own story. That may seem odd, but, isn't it worth it to get some good feedback from all other authors? If you are not an author but rather a member of this website and you wish to submit a vote or votes, you too will be required to post comments on ALL stories of at least 25 words.

NOTE: If it is determined by the CAW Host that an author or non-author has written one unique comment and then is copying and pasting said comment on other stories to cheat the system, that person's votes will be voided. The feeling is if it is too much trouble to take a minute or two and write a couple of sentences for these authors who have worked for many, many hours to bring you these fine stories, then you haven't earned the right to vote.

Additional notes: The CAW Host for CAW #19 is ahorsewithnoname, who won CAW #18. He has asked N.E. Woman, a frequent forum participant, to co-host with him. This will allow for two non-writers for CAW #19 to answer questions and tabulate votes.

IMPORTANT: THIS WILL BE AN ANONYMOUS WRITING CHALLENGE! This means that you are NOT permitted to ask questions about or otherwise indicate your subject matter in an open forum. You must keep your project a secret. You may not send PMs, emails, texts, tweets, FB messages, post on any forum, create YouTube videos, send smoke signals or in any way, shape, manner or form communicate your idea for this challenge to other XNXX.com members. The only exception to this is that you may employ one proofreader, however, if that proofreader spills the proverbial beans and word gets out about your story, it will be disqualified. Secrecy is crucial! At the end of the writing portion you will be told where to send your entries, how to format, etc. A hint: you will need to submit your story in text-only format, single spaced, double spaces between paragraphs. All stories will be posted using the same typeface, same size, etc.

There will be no campaigning for this CAW, intentional or otherwise. It is anonymous. You CAN say that you are entering the challenge, you simply can't tell someone what you are writing. If you wish to have fun and throw out red herrings, you can do so, but be careful. If you say "I'm writing about a yellow submarine" you best not write about the Beatles song of the same name. So that would eliminate one song from your choices. However, if you say "I'm gonna' pick a Beatles song!"......you would then have eliminated EVERY song written by the Beatles.

Deadline: Entries will need to be submitted no later than Noon Eastern Daylight Time on May 3rd.

If you have a question, so long as it will not potentially give away what song you are writing about, you may post it in this thread and either ahorsewithnoname or N.E. Woman will give you an official response. My responses will be signed "Horse", and hers will be signed "NEW", just so you will know who got back to you. If you need clarification of something that you do not wish made public, then send a PM to "CAW SOP".

It is possible that additional information may be added to this post. Please review it periodically. Any new information will be posted below this first round of data, and it will be dated.

Both NEW and I thank you for reading this, and we look forward to your participation in CAW #19!

Ooooooooh! That crunching sound you hear is me sinking my teeth into this one! I can't wait to get started!

Now to find a song. This should be easy. How about this one? Or this song? Or, I know, I know! THIS song! No, no, that one won't work but maybe if I pick the one with the....

Did I say this would be easy? By the way, I love the idea about the comments. If somebody didn't read all the stories, they shouldn't vote. If they read them, but didn't comment (like I did with the last CAW, I'm embarrassed to say) they should really stop being such a lazy schmuck and comment.

    This will be FUN.

I really like this. I have a question, am I allowed to write a true story and submit it as my entry?

    Well, shit.

I'm out. As I was reading, I thought of this great time-travel story that put a yellow submarine in danger from those glaring red rockets. Think of all the music clips I could have included! All the cartoon sex illustrations! Now I can't. :(

The first part of your post should be copied and pasted by all future hosts. The only thing that might be helpful as an introduction to the CAW history and concept would be adding a link to The CAW Winners Circle thread, since the curious can see what Hosts did in the past and the responses writers gave.

So, a song title for the story, maybe some lyrics somewhere, write about anything the site rules allow, and keep your damn mouth shut.

    Right?

I think I may have just changed my mind about boycotting CAW and I have a story ready to enter for CAW 19. It is going to be one hell of a shock!

    Dear Headmaster,

I have three very important questions:

    1) Can we enter more than one story? (this is for snow's sake)

    2) Roughly how long will we have to write stories?

    3) Can the stories contain photos?

    :excited:

As long as people can't identify you through it, why not? I wrote an autobiographic piece for a CAW (anonymity not required) but since I didn't use my real name or hers, who would know?

My thoughts. I'm not the Host.

Seriously, horse, this is a cool theme. Requiring people to give some evidence they actually read the stories before voting makes perfect sense. And stipulating that "kewl stroy bro" won't cut it as a comment is good. Writers here work (yes, doing it well is work) for free, so insightful comments, good and bad, are all we get.

At the risk of sounding like a cheerleader, this sounds like it could be really fun.

Does this mean that we may get fucked about like in CAW18? Start a story and then find out it won't be accepted?:mad::mad::mad::mad:

Sorry to say this but I am passing on this CAW.

This is one I will not even attempt to tackle and will see everyone again in CAW 20. Right now I have too many other projects on my plate.

Yea, I thought about that and figured since I'm rather well known around here, along with the other person involved, I would change the names for the contest. Then simply change them back afterwards when I want to post them to the site (and others as well).

Wee Hector, I rely on a proof reader for my own CAW entries, my grammer is atrocious to say the least. So I must pass on it.

I'm sure you can find someone to do it. I do look forward to your stories, to say the least, they are dynamic and never fail to grip a person from the very beginning.

Yes, you may, so long as you comply with the other parts of the rules (anonymity, song title, blah blah). Look forward to your entry!

Yes, this was one of two major oversights on my part. You may write two individual stories. You may be a part of two stories, either writing one and being part of a team for another, or, being part of a team for two.

And this is the other major oversight. You would think that since this isn't my first rodeo that I wouldn't have wiffed twice in one major post. ::: sigh :::

7 weeks. Entries will need to be submitted no later than Noon Eastern Daylight Time on May 3rd. I will endeavor to get ejls to modify the initial post to include this and the other above question/answer when she returns.

    Yer a funny guy. :)

In a word, no. Actually, you can include backgrounds, font changes, YouTube videos, XNXX.com videos, and all sorts of other stuff.............but when we (CAW SOP) post the stories, they will be text only.

Naw. It's more for adding little stuff that we missed, like how long you have to write the stories, or if you can write multiple stories. Typically if anything really important is answered here in the thread, I'll try and get it put into the first post because that's the one most people will initially read.

I am saddened to hear that, Snow. I was looking forward to seeing your posts here and reading your story (stories). Especially since I voted for you in the previous CAW. Perhaps you will reconsider; there are 7 weeks and we all know how prolific you are, being able to turn out a story quite quickly.
