I'm lucky enough to live in a new house - still doesn't stop the fuckers going through a list of things for sale:-
Double glazing
Conservatory
Guttering
facia boards
etc etc

Oh and Chunky - we get about 4 calls a week at work from phone companies trying to get us to change providers - first as we don't advertise we ask how they got our number, and then we ask them for the details they hold on us under the Data Protection act - they rapidly retreat - and if they don't we just put them on hold until they get the message!

ok, so i realized i was the last to post here, but now i'm posting what i'm pissed about...
went to my second "fat" meeting today...we do weekly weigh-ins...this last week i was really good with my eating and i added 3 nights of workouts...
all these old(er) ladies dropped weight since last week and i went UP 0.2 lbs... UP, dammit...i did sooooooo good this week...and i went UP!!!!!!!!!!! grrrrrrrrr

 

What program are you following??? You could be retaining water, especially if it's right before your period...Don't give up, that happens sometimes....:rose:

 

no, not right b4 my period...and i know muscle weighs more than fat and its only the first week...i'm just discouraged...venting...
i'm not really following a real "program" just some common sense stuff...limiting portions, adding more veggies and water...adding workouts...
just frustrated...i'm an impatient person...i want results now dammit...

My daughter gained a lot of weight and is counting calories and has lost all of it...I'm proud of her, and you'll do fine...Watch your sugar intake, it'll kill you...

yeah, surprisinly, sugar isn't my problem, its bread, pasta and other carbs...i like my "comfort food" and i think i need to actually "count" my calories...i have just been planning my meals and snacks with proper portions and not paying REAL close attention to the actual numbers...seems like too much work...but i just might have to do that.

 

She uses the site calorieking.com....I guess almost everything is there...Make sure you're eating complex carbohydrates...Watch when you're cooking make sure that you don't taste to much........You'll be fine, message me anytime if you get discouraged......:rose:

 

yeah i noticed the sampling while i'm cooking adds up...and also.."cleaning up that last little bit" on the kids' plates too...i hate to waste food...$$ ya know...but its all a matter of lifestyle change...

 

See I used to do that too when I cleaned up after a meal, it's hard not to....Have NW do that...

 

lol, i know, but maybe its a mom thing...he doesn't like to eat after the kids...it doesn't bother me...the new puppy is helping a little with the cleanup, too lol but not too much, don't wanna get her sick or fat too...lol
