There doesn't need to be an equivalent word, you just use chauvinism. Chauvinism is just exaggerated belief in a single cause, statement of position, so a woman that believes females are superior to men can be called a female chauvinist.

I honestly don't know how any woman can be attracted to a bald man. Even I think baldness is ugly. I tend to avoid mirrors. I don't even want to see myself. I get upset when I see my bare scalp. It makes me feel sick. So I can understand why women won't date me.

When I was younger and had a full head of hair, I liked the way I looked. I used to laugh and make jokes about bald men. When my friends and I would be out in public we would always point at bald guys and laugh. We would talk about how stupid their comb overs looked. Now I find myself on the other end of those jokes. The ridicule always hurts more coming from the ladies.

hmmmm... well, I love men in general and am thankful they exisit. My husband is the greatest guy I have ever met and my very best friend. It's probably why I: am 100% faithful, married him, am totally enthralled with him, tolerate ALL his "alpha" stuff, cook just about every meal we have eaten for 15 years, do ALL the laundry, housework, shopping, banking, bills, family stuff, make his lunch, make his coffee, clean up whatever he wore that day, used as a tool, or ate, touched, whatever. The list could go on.

I don't think we hate men at all. I just think you think we do based upon your obvious hatred for us. Sad, that.

In the grand scheme of human beings living on Earth, it hasn't been that long since we were allowed to even own ANYTHING of our own, had to wear clothes that covered our entire bodies, and a host of other rules imposed by men since the dawn of time on us. How about the equal vote? Not that long ago at all. Having the right to cut our hair? Whoa. That's a very modern idea believe it or not. I'm just sayin.

So, you may hate us because deep down you really don't like/want us and have judged us by your own needs and terms. We are intitutive and know instantly when we meet a guy if is a "woman hater" or not. When it happens to me, I think "Closet Gay Man." It's not true, of course, and I have no problems with anyone's individual sexuality. Live and let live. But there are many gay men who simply hate women of every kind and are happy to let us know in their own way. Just like you.

Gay men that hate women are relatively rare. Most are very tolerant of women and feminine traits. Lesbians, on the other hand make no bones about hating men.

 

Like I said, it's not true, but it is what I automatically think. I have read, seen, and heard some seriously ugly things by gay men who hate us and I can't help myself from thinking that. I know it's wrong of me to think this way. I don't want too...

And I don't know any lesbians nor much about them really. They "seem" more quiet than the gay men who openly want every straight guy... especilly if he's married.

This is just my opinion on what I intitally think when meeting a mean guy. It doesn't happen very often tho.

Hello Gentleman... This poll is interesting. It looks like roughly one out of every 5 people (20%) who answered thinks women are evil man haters. If you think this then you have company.

Why do you think other people think this? It may be worth your while to seek out some of these people and compare notes. If you do this it may help you understand your own feelings better.
