    In days gone by, it was known as Dr Wrongs Bag. It vaguely resembled a doctors bag apart from color and material, no idea who named it... These days, there's a couple in a bedside draw, not used enough by the way... I often have plans to get them out and double up here and there but in the heat of the moment...

      I liked the idea of your leather case, curiousscouser, but I really love the idea of a doctor's bag. I think the stereotypical shape is called a"Gladstone". I've looked into getting one to haul some of my music gear to gigs, just because they look cool, but I found they are pretty expensive. I might get lucky and find one at a thrift shop (which might be a little icky to then fill with sex toys), but a new one is definitely out of my price range.

      I don't mind the idea of second hand to be honest. I would need to have some refurbishment done anyway to put some partitions and dividers in there, having it cleaned is neither here nor there. Victoriana is mega-expensive, but an Edwardian case shouldn't be too dear and would still have the look of something with some age to it.

      It's another project I like the sound of but will never get around to actively pursuing!:D

      Looks like used ones are still pretty pricey, and most I see don't have that classic look you're talking about. I see more 1950's green leather bags. Though looking made me remember I have a few overnight bags I got as a "free gift" with cologne over the years. Canvas zipper bags with leather bottom and handles. Portable, discrete, plenty of room to keep those expensive toys in their original boxes, and I seldom go on vacation to use them as actual luggage. Nowhere near as cool as an anituqe black gladstone, but the price is right!
