This has always bothered me. It's been said again and again that in general women enjoy sex more than guys, but guys are always the one being the desperate ones because they often can't control themselves, the ones in most sexual harassment and rape cases, etc...

For me it's a big turn off to go into any hook up / dating / whatever where you always see posts of desperate dudes and rarely ever a girl, unless she's trying to get you to pay for her Webcam show or porn hub subscription.

I'm a guy and I have a girlfriend. I like having sex with her, but I can tell she enjoys it more than I do.

What would the world be like if women where the stereotypical desperate ones instead? Interesting to think about.

Women don't like to be seen as desperate...otherwise they're label a SLUT. They want sex just as much as men do, but won't have it with just ANY ONE...like men do. Don't forget, men only worry about the fucking, then they leave. Women worry about possibly becoming pregnant by some random guy who then takes off. That's another negative.

It's just the way nature is. Males need to procreate as much and as often as they can. Women don't.

My gf told me that, before we got together, she just didn't know how to ask a few guys she liked..if they'd be cool with just a FWB thing. Many times this is why boys grow up the way they do when parents (especially with no father) are either taught no respect for women if not for themselves to control "just because they can, doesn't mean that they should" meaning they don't understand what it can mean to a girl.

Whether it's the growing fatherless society or the many immature parents where domineering father types or mothers tend to put too much pressure on girls to behave which makes them rebel in the wrong way at the wrong time or follow the rules so strictly that they can't let go when they're with the love of their life. Men need great male role models to become great men while a woman can give them shelter, clothing, food and love "A woman cannot raise a boy to be a man" which if the influences of males is not positive can lead to the misogynistic prick or the timid man unsure of his role and responsibility.

 

Girls have better control over their feelings than boys. Moreover, their instinct keeps on warning them to avoid pricks, if they wanted to be attractive to boys. You let a boy get into you, you lose the charm. So, girls always wear a aloof look imitating indifference to sex.

Well, to answer your first question, "Why are guys always so desperate?", I like to think of it like this forum and you can think of this forum like society and life in the real world. In this forum, who knows whichever gender has more of itself and not only that, there are more, active male posters in this forum. The ratio of male to female, active-wise, is pretty big so because of that, there are less women for the big mass of guys to chat with. So when a guy gets told no and that guy can't find anyone else to chat with, he would start becoming desperate and grow his want for this particular woman. Okay, now think about the real world. Sure, a club on a night and this forum aren't really exactly the same because in this forum, it's obvious that there are more guys around but in a club, it's more even and the ratio is smaller, guys to girls.

To answer your second question, "What would the world be like if women where the stereotypical desperate ones instead?", I honestly don't really know what to think of that. A part of me first thought that nothing would really change and girls would go after guys just like how guys would go after girls. But then, I thought about this idea and I believe this this would be what the world would be like. In society, the guy is expected to make the move on the girl and be the first to ask her out. That doesn't mean that the girl can't ask the guy out but if the guy doesn't approach the girl, then he's not into her, even though he may be into the girl but just too shy. In prom in high school, it is common for guys to be the ones to ask the girl out, if he wanted to go to prom with her as a couple or making it a date. If he doesn't ask her out and another guy asks her out, then the first guy would be disappointed because he knows that he had to make the move and then he was too late. When proposals occur for marriage, the guys are expect to buy the ring, go out with his girlfriend, get on one knee and say, "Will you marry me?" But in a world where the women are the stereotypical desperate ones, I feel like everything that I said would be swapped. So instead of guys being expected to make the first move, girls would be expected. Instead of guys being expected to make the first move to ask a girl out for prom, girls will be expected. Instead of guys being expected to propose his girlfriend, girls are expected with their boyfriends.

I dunno, maybe I was wrong. Just an idea that just popped into my head right before I was going to post without adding that last part. But I just feel that being desperate would make you more aggressive and passionate towards something. Of course, being desperate is not necessarily a good thing and can show a side of you that has no self-control.

Girls are soft to the core, that is why they want to create a fortress around them. yet they tend to fail when such crooked men camouflaging themselves as true lovers, become friends and then use them - rather crumble them.
