To tell you the truth, I must be one of those guys that is in the minority. I tend to prefer using my imagination a lot more than most, and especially regarding both sex and porn.

I don't mind reading 'erotic literature' written by women, because it is a major turn on to read what a woman is thinking. Or see what she sees in regards to a particular situation. I was honestly born during the wrong generation, because all of this exposure of a woman's body is overwhelming. I believe very strongly that a woman shouldn't have to be overtly sexual in order to be considered attractive.

The build up to the love scenes is the ultimate part of a sex story. I enjoy understanding a character's motivations, and knowing the mindset and personality of them. I can visualize better the intended characters, and thus gain something from the story.

I find that modern day porn often leaves me cold. I enjoy the older. more natural look as well as more story (even if a little lame) to the bump and grind sort of porn that seems to be the rule today. I have always enjoyed films with Annette Haven in them as well as films like Autobiography of a Flea, Behind the Green Door and the Opening of Misty Beethoven. Without wanting to cast too many generalisations, I'd say that men are more visual, and women are more mental. Why is it that men love it when a woman looks up at them while they're sucking their cock? Is it because eye contact actually makes the physical act of the blow-job better, or is it because it makes the visual image better?

I've met both kinds of women and I know that lately the difference is getting smaller. Probably it has to do with biological reasons, why men have a bit sronger sex drive on average, but my first girlfriend introduced me to things I never new existed and she was secretly masturbating watching porn movies on late night cable TV and similar (that was a little before wide-spread use of internet).
