God. This forum makes me so pessimistic about marriage....

 

*hugs* it turns into a kind of... I don't have the word for it, almost like skin hunger, after awhile. It doesn't even have to be sexual anymore, just feeling a caring touch would be amazing. I think the other women, or men, just don't understand how depressing it can be to be denied touch.

Sounds like many of us are in the same boat. We love our wives and cant imagine cheating with another. My husband and I have been married for 20 years, known each other for 25 years. We have always had a healthy sex life until about 2 years ago. I had to have another back surgery around this time. Wow. I do feel very lucky. After 40 years and 2 kids we still have sex almost every day, at least 5 times a week.

We're not model material, but we do stay trim, exercise regularly, stay healthy as we can as we age. I was part to blame, i thought when i got married, a magic wand would be waved and our lack of communication and inhibitions would dissappear. I thought it was just something that was automatic.
