If the dossier was a legitimate intelligence document relied on by the court, then why not just tell the country?

In his Congressional testimony, Mr. Comey himself called the dossier “salacious and unverified.” As pointed out in The Federalist, did the fact that the FBI Director had briefed the President-Elect on the dossier give it the “legitimacy” the press needed to go ahead and print something they knew was not accurate?

Why is the Special Counsel Robert Mueller? According to The Hill and Circa News, in 2009 and 2010, the FBI through an informant learned Russian companies seeking to do business in the United States were involved in kickbacks and bribes. Yet, FBI Director Robert Mueller did not inform Congress and did not inform the Committee of Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS), the entity responsible for the decision on whether to approve the Uranium One deal.

Why did Robert Mueller not inform CFIUS? And why did the Justice Department put a gag order on the informant?

 

Why would a Special Council be needed? The Justice Department has all the authority it needs to do this job.

If crimes have been committed, let Jeff Sessions earn his fucking paycheck for a change, instead of trying to be the chairman of the reelect Trump committee.

If there was anything really there Trump's appointees are in control of all the agencies and the Republicans control congress and they would be all over it. Because for one the claims they are trying to make aren't just wrong. They are impossible. They are trying to take several things that aren't even connected and pretend they show corruption. And they already know that because they had years and years to investigate it and if there was anything there they would have gone after Clinton hammer and tongs over it before the election.

But we also have plenty of examples of the right wing false propaganda machine and Trump supporters pushing phony scandal stories that have already proven false. Not too long ago they where screaming that Susan Rice, Samantha Powers, and other members of the Obama administration had illegally unmasked members of the Trump campaign and would probably end up indicted. But congress has already made them testify and were forced to admit they did nothing wrong.

And so that phony scandal falls by the wayside and they just invent new ones.
