Bush did not defund HUD. The Democrat's had controlled of Congress when funding for HUD was cut in the 90's. They are the ones that did it....

Hardly worth entering an opinion. Democrats think that every bad thing in their administrations is a legacy of the previous Republican one. And vice versa. But every good thing was of their own making. Look, LBJ didn’t give a rat’s ass about how many lives his policies took and neither did W. These guys are in it for the power. I wouldn’t suggest anyone attach emotionally to any president or to their party.

 

Reagan was more dangerous than Trump because he was a popular president. Few people hated Reagan. Liberals did not like his policies, but they were demoralized. They realized that the civil rights legislation of the 1960's and the War on Poverty had not worked out as planned. They had lost confidence in their agenda.

Liberals hate Trump with a good conscience. They are joined by conservatives who find Trump's personality repulsive and who agree that he is intellectually and psychologically unsuited for his office.

 

I'm am sure Republicans find themselves in a horrible position not unlike how Anthony Weiner supporters feel. But they cant be honest with themselves about Trump, He is the head of the Republican party . To be honest with themselves about Trump, would be the same as a mother admitting her only son was a criminal, No wonder you see them pulling their hair out and screaming and cursing at the newspapers, TV reporters etc! Even the GOP senators are caught up in this terrible dilemma! What used to be relatively honest men considering they are politicians, are forced to lie and embarrass themselves daily, making ridiculous excuses for this mans idiotic behavior, his child like boasting with lies that make him the laughing stock of the world, the man is a joke in every country! God knows people, How would we feel if he were a democrat, hell like many Republicans we would have to leave the party. Thank god Obama straightened the country out and got the economy rolling along at a good pace, can you imagine what Trump would have done to this country had he been the next president after Bush? Hell we would be approaching the level of a third world country bv now!
