I haven't read all the posts and don't intend to.
In my old age I've become a professional writer. I no longer write for other people and no longer write under a pseudonym.
Censorship for me is a huge cause for alarm as it in it's self violates my rights along with societal interests.
Subjects that dearly need to be kept out in the open for discussion and analyzed as to their impacts on society become demonized as a direct result of censorship.
Censorship removes access to resource materials for understanding, formulation of treatments for victims, impacts on individuals as well as the structure of law regarding penalties for violations of then established law.
Throughout history there has been several instances of censorship along with book burnings followed by the collapse of that society because of the gradual increase of fanatical attacks on particular schools of thought and interpersonal topics.
It can ultimately destabilize sectors of society through it's ultimate segregation or isolation of individuals, groups or doctrines of society.
I do not read or subscribe to stories involving underage individuals but banning them could remove a valuable resource.
Rather than ban them or any other topic, it would be my hope that they instead be allowed to remain which could ultimately open new forums for discussion as well as an avenue for healing of victims and discourage violators.
It's the anonymity of this site that could allow an individual to discover they're not alone, have support and can come forward without facing direct judgement because they're identity remains anonymous in this forum "which they may not be able to find in any other place" .
XNXX has the luxury at this point to take a stand by supporting victims who are valuable assets to our society and allow them the opportunity to voice their issues either through fictionalized accounts as well as the opportunity to condemn predators.

I believe banning any topic will ultimately disadvantage our members.

From what I've seen the statement change on the stories side was just cover, very few stories have been removed, and the titles of the stories that rate at the top most often pretty much tell the tale.

I have already stated how much I hate censorship. I believe in self-censorship. If you don't like a subject then don't write about it or read stories that include it.

There are plenty of stories about subject that are illegal. subject like killing, bank robbery, adultery and so on. People are not arrested for writing about it, only for doing it.

What all the complainers about censorship and promotion of free speech keep avoiding is the fact that XNXX HAS MEMBERS FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD, LIVING IN DIFFERENT JURISDICTIONS, UNDER DIFFERENT SETS OF LAWS and MANY OF THE GOVERNMENTS INVOLVED WILL GLADLY BRING LAWSUITS AGAINST XNXX IF THE SITE WAS CONDONING THINGS LIKE 1) Child Pornography (including stories about children being sexually involved with adults, molested or even underage (and this could be up to 18 years old) sex between minors, or 2) beastiality.

The question of SELF-CENSORSHIP is valid. What XNXX's administration is doing IS "Self-Censorship': They are censoring activities (pictures and stories) that they know ARE BREAKING LAWS in market areas they serve IN ORDER TO PREVENT THE ENTIRE SITE FROM BEING SHUT DOWN.

I have said this before, and I will say it again:

If YOUR sensitivities are hurt because you cannot show pictures of yourself butt-fucking 8 year old boys or your Siamese cat, then GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Don't try to take down this entire site because you feel you are being censored.

There are no LAWS against writing stories about bank robberies or murder. That is true.

But there ARE laws about distributing CHILD PORNOGRAPHY, whether in pictures or stories. This is the INTERNET. The internet DISTRIBUTES things. People are ARRESTED for distributing such things. Smarten up.

There are a lot of strong arguments on this thread and one might shake their head at some of the posts however we are free to have our own beliefs and opinions even if others don't agree with them ........ just a thought.

That being said, I have a problem not with the fact that beastiality is not allowed on this site (which I'm glad it isn't) but on the video side of this site, which for all intents and purposes is still part of this site, there are advertisements for other sites and one has Scobby Doo (don't know if I spelled it right) and Shaggy pulling a train on some girl and another one has the Mom from "The Family Guy" taking it in the hoop from the family dog. WTF is that, first of all it's sick and second it's sexual acts being depicted with "humans" and "animals". These are links to other sites that are pay sites but if you want the problem gone then get these fucking adds off as well, I don't give a shit if they generate revenue for this site or not ....... piss on the pot or get off.
