In so many ways it really doesn't matter what I think. It's your life. My advice is there to be taken... or not!

I have been tempted to stray once or twice, and at times I've been in a 'bad place' as far as our marriage was concerned, and had the opportunity arisen, then you knows have might have happened, or if I would still be married :shock:

But I haven't strayed, and firmly intend not to in the future. Been with my wife for 16 years, married for 14 of those.

Update: earlier this afternoon, before I had to go to work. It was a double-header due to my short trigger. Both times were unfulfilling to me, and I suspect to her as well, though she won't admit it.

 

That's NOT going to happen, I'll bitch and whine, but I can't just do that.

Goofygirl, I can relate. The sex is very seldom here and hardly ever intercourse, but the issue is shared by both me and my wife. We are too tired or some other reason that it doesn't happen. Don't cheat on your husband. Do you sleep together? What else do you do together? Sports, hobbies, television, movies? Find something that you BOTH like to do. Don't do something "just for him" because it won't work or won't last. Spend time together and just play. Real play, not sex. See where that takes you. Get closer to him and make him see that you are a desirable woman who deserves to be held closer also. Date, again or for the first time.

Fortunatly for me our relationship has developed at the same time so neither of us is really suffering and neither is pushing the other away. The drugs absolutely kill the sex drive; to the point that I can usually only cum in the morning. Both of our sex drives are affected, including my wife's and she says she basically doesn't feel much anymore. Only rarely can I stimulate her and it takes rather long to do so.

As we get older we say we need it less but that is an excuse, I think, from both of us so it isn't painful to realize. When we do have sex, though, it is better now than when we first met. Good Luck.

I'm curious about one thing, goofygirl. What do you think your husband would say if you openly suggested to him that you may need to seek fulfillment outside of the marriage? It seems to me that if he isn't interested, and he knows you still have sexual needs that are going begging, he's not exactly on the moral high ground here. He has some obligation to you, no matter what he feels or doesn't feel.

Second question: Are you bisexual? And if so, would he object to your being with another woman?

I'm not suggesting anything in particular here...just trying to understand.

 

Oh no, he would never, ever go for that, ever !!! I've had friends suggest that he may actually be gay (that's right Moondancer ). I've never really considered being with a woman, although he thinks I do. He wouldn't go for that either.
