Not all women snoop, Peaches. Some gals are just really nosey. I like to think if I don't know about it, it won't bother me.

I don't think she had any right to snoop. That's invasion of your privacy and it's wrong.


The only time I come close to snooping is if the other person is in the room and I blatantly say something along the lines of, "Do you mind if I snoop through this?"... and even then, I much prefer it if in the person stays in the room while I do it. And if they say they don't want me looking in it, then I don't. I respect that.

 

Thats a line that cant be crossed if you have trust it shouldn't be necessary.

 

Well lessons of my past made it nessasary, Twisty understood when I came clean about nosing through his stuff. He said it's only natural that I would want to make sure my future spouse wasn't going to be a danger.

 

I think it is totally out of order snooping! My hubby (or should I say soon to be ex) used to open my post read my emails search my computer history etc. etc.. It did my head in! I didnt get a mobile till we split just cause I knew how bad it would get!

Just cause you are in a relationship it doesnt mean we give up the rights to privacy. I would never tolerate it again.

 

It's been said already, but I consider that out of order. You need to sit her down and talk to her about it, she needs to realise that your privacy is something that is sacrosanct. Relationships are about giving and sharing, not taking, and this includes the right to privacy, and the right to know things.

 

All girls snoop? Nope. My wife and I have always respected each other's privacy. She has never snooped, opened mail addressed to me, checked up on me, gone through my computer or even asked very many questions. I have always done the same and don't believe in looking through other people's stuff like their medicine cabinets while using their bathrooms.

 

It’s kinda strange that she abused first opportunity.

I live by two simple relationship rules:

1. Never look on your partners computer
2. Never look on your partners mobile phone

You can pretty much bet that you won't like what you're going to find, so don't do it!

 

eye for an eye she should not look through your crap but did you look through hers

 

Are you suggesting he should look through her handbag!

If he falls in, we may never hear from him again!

This is another thing I have never done and probably out of some irrational fear as you suggest. A woman's purse is just one of those mysteries of life I have no courage to explore.

 

Hiya Peaches. I agree with the others, not all women snoop. If you're honest and have trust, there is absolutely no reason to do so. This woman definitely crossed the line.

 

some guys go for years with their significant others being distrustful of them - others can't tolerate even a suggestion of doubt. Sounds like you're not sure where you are in that range. Once you figure that out, it's never a bad idea to let her know where you stand in no uncertain terms.

I have been with my husband for almost 10 and half years. what he hides like porns is his business. i don't approve what she did. I even watch them with him and buy him new ones. guys should be able to be guys no use changing them and getting in there business

 

I discovered today that my ex is still snooping! He was at my house this morning - AGAIN!!!!! yet another story! But I was outside for literally minutes and when I came back in he got nasty with me about my apparent Pole Dancing lessons - So I knew he had been reading my text messages on my phone!! I dont have PD lessons but do have a 2 hour dance lesson on a tuesday night (in about 1hours time actually) last week my friend who looks after the kids whilst I and a friend go to the lesson joked with us that we should take it up cause apparently it is getting very popular - then this morning she text me to see if I wanted her to have the kids if I was going to my pole dancing lesson - and I replied Yes but only if its my turn to wear the leather thong. He had obviously read these messages and not taken them as a joke! LOUD argument followed! LOL
