Problem is boxing has become a joke. It isn't about boxing any more it's about glitz and fucking fairy lights. It's all rigged to make money out of suckers in the gambling halls across the world and TV sales.

Anyone who thinks promoters are promoting boxing is a fool. They are about promoting a cash cow. It isn't how good each boxer is it's about how much they get paid. It's full of shit.

 

The last time I bought a pay per view fight, it ended in less than a minute.

 

It may surprise you to learn Randy that I completely disagree with you and I thought the recent Klitsko vs Joshua fight was excellent!

As for the Klitsko Joshua fight... what was the first thing that was said straight after.. oh how about a rematch... kafuckingching another big pay day... The fight was probably the best fight I have seen in years.

 

Some of us still remember when Henry Cooper put Classius Clay on his ass, and the "rumble in the jungle" and "thriller in Manila" fights.

 

I don't really know who Conner McGregor is but I guess all he has to do is get in there and box as well as Manny Pacquiao for twelve rounds just to to make a half ass show of it. Best of luck to him.

A press release from the Discovery Channel promises that "the world's most decorated athlete takes on the ocean's most efficient predator".

Phelps, 31, has 23 Olympic swimming gold medals and retired after Rio 2016.

The American has a top speed of six miles per hour in the water, whereas a great white can reach 25mph.

Put them in the same pool and then maybe I might watch it lol.

I really didn't know you were discussing Floyd Mayweather, probably the greatest boxer of all time. I think he will retire undefeated. Unless he falls for a rematch with McGregor under UFC rules.... Anyway my sincere apologies on usurping your thread, quite unintentional, I assure you.

 

Well I guess you could call me one of them young thundercats! I donno much bit there's a few things I know are fact.

1. Floyd is the greatest boxer of all time(undefeated-currently)
2. Modern day corporations have everything you can imagine rigged to benefit hidden agendas and capital gains
3. McGregor has height and reach advantage on his opponent
4. McGregor also has a 80 something percent KO record, is a southpaw, and is no slouch in boxing
